EMILY'S POV
My head was leaned against the window, watching the sun go down. I looked at all the cars driving on the other side of the road, and everything was quiet.
"I need to talk to you." Harry's words kept repeating in my head. What did he wanted to tell me?
I was getting curious, but I didn't want to get too curious. Maybe it was something stupid? But why would he come all the way, just to tell me something stupid? Stop it Emily, stop it! I couldn't think of it any further.
I only wanted to focus on Caitlyn. But what if she was dead? That would just be a waste of time. Maybe there was hope, maybe she was still alive. I wanted to look on the bright side, so I decided to think of her as alive.
It almost hit me like a bus, when I realized that I haven't called my mom. I couldn't just tell her that I went off to another city without asking her. So I decided to tell her that i'm with Stacie tonight.
I grabbed my phone out of the bag and dialed my mom's number. She picked up at the first ring.
"Hello? Mom?" I said too shy.
"Yes honey?" She said in her casual voice.
"I'm at Stacie's for the night. Is that okay?"
"Of course honey! Have fun and i'll see you tomorrow." By then she ended the call. Well that was easier than I thought.

It has now been a three hour long busride, and I would soon be there. I started taking my stuff off of the ground and I could feel my stomach groal. I was getting hungry and I didn't eat before I ran outside, because I didn't think of the long trip for a second.
The bus finally stopped and I almost jumped in excitement. I jumped out of the bus and looked at all the beautiful lights. The city was big and you felt invisible being in the big crowd. I had around 17 hours to find her, so I needed to find her fast. My eyes darted towards one of the restaurants, and I quickly went inside.

"Can I help you?" The waitress asked. I gave her a smile and looked at the menu again. "Can I have a burger with fries, but no ketchup please." She wrote my order down and went straight to the kitchen. While I waited, I looked around and my eyes quickly darted towards a man sat on the other table. He looked creepy and he was looking at me while smiling and winking. I shook my head and looked back at the menu. There was really nothing interesting, I just didn't want to look at the man. I looked up and saw the waitress coming back with my food. Apparently there was a beer too. "Um- excuse me, but I didn't order a beer?" I said and placed the beer back. "No, the man over there did." She said and pointed at the man, who was looking and winking at me. "No thank you, I don't drink." I said. "Alright then." She said and took the beer. She went to the man and whispered something, but I couldn't hear what it was. She was probably saying that I didn't want the drink. I looked back at my food and took a bite of the burger.
It tasted amazing, and it had been a while since I last ate a burger.
After a couple of minutes I finished my burger and put some money on the table, I decided to go outside and look for Caitlyn. It was a little colder than before and it was getting even darker. I realized that it would be hard to look for her in the middle of the night, so instead, I tried to look for a place to sleep, so I would go there right after, if I did or did not find her.
I started walking around, looking at the cheapest hotel, but they all looked expensive.
Finally I came across a cheap hotel, well that was what it looked like. I entered the lobby, and I web over to the reception. "Hello, and what can I do for you?" A bald man greeted me with a smile. The place was actually fancy and there was a red carpet on the floor that lead to a hallway I guess.
"Yeah, i'm looking for a room, just for the night?" I smiled.
He looked down on some papers and entered a password on the computer, to see if there was any rooms available.
"Yes, we have one left, room 23b" He said and gave me the keys. I payed the man and went straight to my room. The stairs were creepy and the elevator didn't even work. I finally made it to my room and I unlocked the door. The first impression I got of the room, was small. With one bed and a bathroom. But it was alright, because I wasn't going to stay here for vacation. I closed the door again, and made my way outside again. The man looked a little confused when I exited the lobby, but I just gave him a smile.
It was dark now. Really dark. The lights were on, but there was still many people walking around, and laughing.
I was already getting tired, but I had to stay awake. I needed to find her.

It had been a couple of hours, and I slowly realized that it was impossible to find her, when there was so many people. I gave up. And i'm not the type of person who gives up, so fast, but I was tired. I started walking back to the hotel, and every corner I turned, I saw a homeless. It was scary, because after what had happend to me, a couple of weeks ago, i'm scared to walk past a drunk/homeless person.
I finally entered the hotel, and it wasn't the bald man standing at the reception, but a young handsome guy.
