Hearing the crashing of the waves from a few blocks away is calming as Bako and (Y/n) casually walk side by side together along the path, the sky melting away to a saturated, disoriented sunset with beautiful shades of crimson, amber and gold.
The uneasy, fragile tension between the azure male and the girl slowly melts away, as (Y/n) forgives and forgets the horrendous incidents of Bako pushing her from the cliff. She decides to be positive and put any negative upbringings behind her.
Today had been an enjoyable day for the pair, and (Y/n) smiles at the happy events replaying in her head. She glances up at the taller male beside her, beginning to study his fine features more closely with the painted sunset behind him.
His jawline, eyes, chin and whole face is sharp, like someone had specially carved his face out like a statue. Guarded, cobalt eyes stare straight ahead at the road, alert and steady, but also thoughtful, against newly tanned skin. (Y/n) unconsciously feels her eyes wander over to the male's cobalt hair, spiky and sleek, however soft looking, bouncing a little with every step Bako takes. As the female feels her heart flutter a little, her (e/c) eyes still focused on the boy, Bako suddenly jerks his head around to face the female.
His face frowns a little as the female quickly looks away, before his expression softens.
"Is something wrong, (Y/n)? You seem to be staring at me quite a bit, not that there is anything wrong with that." (Y/n) looks down at her feet, feeling the concerned gaze of the male staring down upon her.
"I'm fine, I was just spacing out a bit, just thinking..."
The
"Your not falling for me, are you?" He smirks, only to receive a vigorous shaking of the head from the girl. Her cheeks flush with rose as she tries to maintain a steady voice to answer the cobalt's teasing.
"O-Of course not!"
The azure-eyed male snags his sonic continues to stare in front of the long, sunny street ahead of the two, a devilish smirk painted on his lips. The two sail past huge, exotic beach houses with balconies and outdoor rooms, as (Y/n) secretly glances around her in awe.
"You can continue to stare, I don't mind-"
"That's alright." The (h/c)-haired female smiles at the male with a huge, fake grin, making the male laugh, dropping his teasing towards the girl. He unconsciously feels his strong, tanned hand reach out to ruffle the female's hair once more, however he knew that the temptation to scoop the girl into a hug would be to much.
He'd only just earned (Y/n)'s trust again, breaking down the uneasy barrier between the two. Bako sighs, realising that the barrier between him and the girl could easily be rebuilt again, if he startles her with one wrong move. The azure male slides his hands into his pockets, casually walking beside the female at a respectful distance.
"I was actually just thinking of that waitress we encountered earlier at the cafe, the one with the turquoise ponytail and short swirly skirt."
Bako smiles warmly at the thought of the turquoise-haired female. "Hika-chan." He murmurs.
(Y/n) nods politely, trying not to feel hurt that the cobalt guy seems so content by simply uttering that girl's name. "Oh, yes- that's her. If you don't mind me saying, she seems a little strange. I mean this with all due respect, of course." The (e/c)-coloured female bites her lip nervously, hoping that the male isn't too offended.
