Author's Notes
Hey, guys. Hika-chan here. ^^
So, I read all of the comments from the last chapter yesterday, and I was pretty amazed- thanks for all of the theories, I really enjoyed reading and responding to them! ^^
I noticed that a few readers were confused by yesterday's chapter, so I'll summarise it. :)
The underlined, bold words are the brief, important points of the chapter for readers who want to skim through the summary quickly, in case they already have a basic understanding of the last chapter, or whatever the reason. However, the default font is for anyone who has no clue of what happened in the last chapter. It will analyse the whole chapter with moderate detail.
~This is optional, and there is no pressure in you reading this. Just scroll ahead for Chapter 36, if you like. I hope the summary helps!~ ^^
-Yesterday, (Y/n) and the six yandere boys got back to the hotel suite, after speaking to the police about Ash's death. Obviously, all of them were devastated, however it seemed apparent to (Y/n) that the boys were slightly ignoring her presence, as if they were annoyed with her. (Y/n) feels slightly unsettled by this, however she brushes it off, acknowledging that they are upset over Ash's death.
-Later, while the rest of the six boys seemingly isolate themselves alone in each of their shared rooms, grieving, (Y/n) goes to shower to wash away the stress of the day. While she is there, she realises that she no longer feels any sorrow or hurt over the death of Ash, despite the fact that he gave up his life so she could live. Questions such as 'Shouldn't she at least feel mentally broken because she saw a human die in her arms?' seem to stir in (Y/n).
-(Y/n) even goes as far to doubt her sanity, as she realises that she even felt slightly "uplifted" at the sight of death and gore being displayed before her- basically meaning that it gave her a feeling of excitement/an adrenaline rush to see a person die. (Sadism.) This could possibly be because of the gruesome experiences that she has had with the six boys while they are on holiday- with them trying to kill her, and try and kill each other- so she has grown used to the sight of bloodshed and violence.
-However, the hot water from the shower quickly snaps (Y/n) out of her evil thoughts. She later decides out loud that the death of Ash is not her fault- despite the fact that he died because she ran in front of a car. Little does she know that Bako and Ryo are secretly eavesdropping on the conversation that the female is having with herself, and instantly Bako grows angry at her words.
-Luckily, Ryo manages to comfort Bako before his anger manages to grow; as Bako describes that he feels betrayed by (Y/n), as she doesn't feel upset for Ash's death. As Bako falls asleep in Ryo's arms, Ryo starts to recall old, important memories of them being angels, and being instructed by 'them' to "take care of (Y/n)" and most importantly, "keep her happy" otherwise each of the boys will regret it.
-He even remembers how (Y/n) was brought from a hospital with serious injuries, and then she had to go in a coma. That is when the six supposed angels were ordered to look after her by 'them'.
-Ryo fears that Ash's death is the thing that 'they' ('Them' and 'they' being the same person.') told the boys they would regret if they ever failed their tasks. Because (Y/n) has been harmed by the boys many times, Ryo is afraid that 'they' caused Ash's death as a punishment because the boys failed their tasks.
