"But Namjoon, it's only the river, we've been here a thousand times before..." Jin said as they arrived.

Namjoon didn't say a word as he continued to lead Jin along the rivers edge. When he finally stopped, Jin looked around and saw the beauty or their surroundings.

The trees formed a dome around them, but they broke at the top so the sky was clear and visible above them. The sounds of the river were soft and comforting as the two boys stared up at the cloudless sky. The stars lit the night like a thousand fireflies above them.

"Namjoon..." Jin said breathlessly. He was completely awed by the sight. "How did you find this place?"

"I do a lot of thinking, and when I think, I walk. And sometimes I end up in places like this." Namjoon said quietly as he sat down, his hand still in Jin's. "Sit."

Jin sat beside him and his heart skipped a beat when Namjoon's arm snaked around his waist and pulled him into his side. Everything was perfect as Namjoon rested his head on top of Jin's.

"Are you tired?" Jin asked quietly. Namjoon nodded. "You should go and rest then."

"Can't we just stay here for a little while? Just like this?" His voice was slow and tired.

Jin nodded and wrapped his arm around Namjoon as well. "Yes." His heart calmed down and he sighed. Namjoon's soft breath was warm on his neck and it gave him goosebumps.

After a few moments, Jin felt Namjoon's weight relax against him more, alerting him that the younger boy was asleep.

Why did he bring me here? Why did he want this time with me?

Jin eventually let himself relax as well.

"Do you know how much I love you? How much it hurts me when you do these things that make my hear race and my hands tremble?" Jin asked quietly. But his heart completely stopped when he received a response.

"I love you too."
