"Mommy,I don't want to go in there. I want to stay home." Tyler said and held onto the jacket of his mom. He was scared to go to kindergarten. All the new kids and he couldn't be home anymore,at least not the whole day. His mom softly released his hands and said:"It's fun,sweetie. And you're going to make lots of new friends." Tyler put on his puppy face. "Promise?" He asked,pretending to sob so his mom would take him home. "Promise. Now have fun." She said and opened the door. The Kindergarden nurse smiled at him as she said:"Come,go to the other kids. They sure want to know who you are." He unsurely walked over to the kids that built a circle. There was a little space left next to a girl. He sat down next to her. The Kindergarten nurse sat also down. "So kids,we have a new kid here today. How about you introduce yourself?"-"My name is Tyler and I am 4 years old." Like on command all the other kids said:"Hello Tyler." He wasn't sure if he's going to like it here. But the kids seemed nice to him and the kindergarten nurse seemed nice too. Tyler turned his head when a bell rang. Everybody stood up except for him. "We're having lunch now." The girl,who he sat next to,said. He stood up and they both walked to the lunch room. "I'm Alex." The little girl said with a smile. "I'm Tyler." He said. "I already know that." She said and they both laughed. They became friends and their friendship grew stronger and stronger.
On the last day of kindergarten they swore to stay friends forever. "And nothing is going to break us apart."
