I Love You. The More-Than-Friends Kind Of Love (Tyler Ward&Alex G FF)

Part 1

So guys,this is the first chapter. Hope you enjoy. (And I know Tyler's birthday isn't on the first day of school,but in this story it is.)

~Tyler's POV~

It's the first day of school and my 16th birthday.

"Tyler,wait!" I heard my best friend scream as she ran up to me. "Hi." She said out of breath. "Hi." I replied with a half smile. "Is something wrong?" She asked innocently. "No,no,everything's ok. Just a bit tired." To be honest,I was kinda disappointed that she didn't congratulate me for my birthday. Usually she'd send me a text at midnight with one thousand emojis and one hundred exclamation points.

"So,"Alex started when we were in school,"do you want to come to the beach after school? I'm going with my mom and it would be boring just with her sooo."-"Yeah,sure,sure. Um,is there a special occasion why we are going to the beach?" She shook her head. "Nope,just because." I nodded as we went to our classroom. My expectations sunk throughout the day,she didn't say anything about it. I even gave her little hints like 'Do you know which day it is?' Or 'Is there anything special today?' ,but she didn't get it.

"And the walls kept tumbling down in the city that we love." We sang along as we drove to the beach. No matter how angry I am,if you turn up good music,I'll sing along. "We are here." Alex' mom said and turned the radio off. Before we drove here,I went to my house and packed my beach stuff. I unbuckled my seatbelt and went out off the car. The hot air had a light smell of salt and algae in it. I took a deep breath,I always loved the beach. "Stop dreaming." Alex said and punched me lightly on the shoulder. I caught up to here and we walked quietly,side by side until we were on the beach. We sat down at the same place as we always do. "I'm going to the changing rooms." I said as I picked up my swim shorts and my towel. Alex nodded while looking at the beautiful view.

~Alex' POV~

"Does he know it yet?" My mom asked when Tyler was gone. "No,he doesn't know." I said with a smile. "Is the table booked?" I added after a few seconds. "Yes,you two are going to have a fun night." My mom said.

Soon Tyler came back. I already changed at my home so I just took my top and my jeans off. "I'm going to stay here and get a bit of tan." My mom said and lay down. Tyler took my hand and we both ran into the waves.

"Hey Alex." He said after a while. We were floating on the water,looking to the sky and saying stupid things like 'Do you see that ugly cloud over there? Looks like you.' I looked at him and he splashed water into my face. "Tyler!" I screamed and wiped the water from my eyes. "Will there be revenge?" He asked laughing. "Oh more than that. Get ready,Tyler." I whispered to him. "Can't wait."

In a moment where he didn't pay attention to me,I splashed water in his face. Suddenly he grabbed me and pulled me underwater. Fortunately he let me go after a few seconds. He had his cheeky grin on,he only did this when he was planning something bad in his mind. I looked at the beach and my mom was waving at us. "I think we should go out before she gets us out." Tyler said laughing. We both walked out of the sea. "We can't stay any longer. I have an important meeting today." The both of us nodded and we went to the car.

"Are you doing anything else today?" He asked me when we were in front of his house. My mom dropped us off and drove straight to the meeting. Me and Tyler aren't living that far away so I can just walk home. "No,I don't think so,",I said to him,"and you?" He put his hands in his jeans pockets and looked down to the ground while biting his lip. "You know,my family and I are going to a restaurant this um evening." I nodded. "I have to go,my father is probably worrying about me." He just nodded and added a "Goodbye" after a few seconds and hugged me. "Bye." I said smiling and walked away.

As soon as I was home I ran to my room and made sure everything was ready. "Good,so the table at the restaurant is booked,the cake is also at the restaurant,my dress is ready and my curl iron is heated." I said to myself. I put on my favorite dress. It was a mid-long,purple dress with a little cutout in the back. Then I put my make up on. I decided to go with nude tones on my eyes and a light coat of dark purple lipstick. With the curling iron I put my hair in light beach curls. I called Tyler's mom and made sure everything was ready. "I asked him to put his suit on to see if it still fits him and you should probably walk over now."-"Thank you so much for doing this Susan." It was so nice that she didn't celebrate Tyler's birthday today so I could spend it with him. "No problem,sweetheart. Have fun with him." She said and we both said goodbye before we hung up.
