Part 5

We both got up and Alex decided to go to her house to change and brush her teeth.

Before she went out of the door,she turned around. "Thank you." She said and hugged me tightly. "No problem." She let me go and stepped back. "I'll go now." She said while pointing to her house. "Kay,see ya before school." I said and hugged her shortly before she walked to her house.

I got ready for school. It was that time of the day when you are still half asleep.

I almost fell asleep while eating breakfast. "Mom,can you make me a cup of coffee?" She nodded and went to the caffe machine.

Soon a boiling hot cup of dark brown water stood in front of me. The smell disgusted me. To be honest,I've never tried coffee before. I took the cup to my mouth and the nearer it got,the more worse the smell got. I took a little sip and immediately regretted it. How does anyone drink this and enjoys it? It tastes like bitter,hot water. I looked at the clock and saw that I was almost late. I rushed to my room and quickly packed my things together.

I walked out of my house,ready to go to school as I saw Alex walking towards me. "Hey." She said full of joy. That's how I love Alex,bubbly and full of energy.

Soon school was over and we were both on our way home. "Can I see the dress you're going to wear for prom?" I asked shortly after we walked past my house. "Sure."

She walked out of her room and wow,she looked stunningly beautiful. "What do you think?" A big smile was on my face as she spun around.

Her dress was nude with a touch of pink in it. "Beautiful,just beautiful." She giggled a bit and said. "Sometimes you just gotta go pretty in pink. And what are you going to wear,Mr Ward?" I put my hands in my jean pockets and said jokingly. "I thought about like jeans and an old,nasty shirt." I said and we both laughed. "Ok,I'll promise to buy a new shirt." I said chuckling. "What are you really going to wear?" She said rubbing on the fringe of her dress. "Like a suit or something like that." She smiled and brushed away a little piece of dust that's was on her dress. "Good,now I don't have to be ashamed to go with you." Suddenly my phone rang. I fetched it out of my pocket. It was my mom.

~Alex POV~

"It's my mom.",Tyler said and looked down at his phone,"I will just.." He said and pointed to the left. I nodded and he went there.

I then sat down at the bench beside my room. After a while Tyler came to me with his phone in his hand. "I need to help my mom with housework,so I need to go." He said and pointed to the door. I looked up to him and saw his cute smirk. What? Can you say that your friend's smirk is cute? I guess. "Oh,yeah,you can go." I said and immediately heard how stupid it sounded.

When he was almost out of the house he turned around and said. "The dress really fits you." One last smile and the door was closed.

I went to my room and changed into a jumper and sweatpants. In the kitchen,I made a cup of tea for myself. I grabbed a few cookies that were laying on the kitchen counter and got back into my room again. I went to my desk and did my homework.

"When the product of.." I mumbled as I did my math homework.
