Dan’s POV

There she was again. The girl with the red hair. It had to be her. I was so sure. I ignored the other girls and walked straight up to her.

– Hi, I’m Dan, I said and looked down on my shoes, afraid that she had completely forgotten about me.

– Hi, uuhm, yeah I know, she said and looked really confused.

– Uhhm, i-I, I’m Katrine, she said after a while.

I understand she was a hardcore stormer, and didn’t recognize me other than Dan Smith from her favourite band. “OF COURSE” I thought to my self. I never really shoved her a picture of me. I was just too afraid she would stop talking to me if she knew how horrible I looked. And now I had probably scared her.

– Uuuhm, yeah, I know, I said, before cursing my self, I had probably just scared her even more now.

Her face just became more and more confused, and I found it really hard to not smile at how cute she looked with that expression.

– I’m Daniel. Daniel Campbell Smith, you remember?

Her mouth fell open, and this time I couldn’t stop my self from laughing.

Katrine’s POV

Oh my god. It was him. Daniel. My old Internet friend Daniel. I didn’t know what to say, so I just hugged him. I had completely forgotten about the other girls around us, to me, it was just the two of us.

– So, you’re what, like, 19 now, right? He said when I finally let go of him.

– Yeah, I am. And you’re, uhm, 24?

– Yes. But you should totally come out with us tonight, we need to catch up

– Yeaaah, sure!

He introduced me to the guys, and told me to just wait outside for them. At this point, Christine was already so drunk she just ordered a cab straight back to our hotel. Bet she’s going to regret this tomorrow.

It had started to snow and I was starting to freeze as I just had my autumn jacket on. Suddenly I felt two arms wrapped around me and a familiar voice in my ear.

– Scared you there, didn’t I?

Dan’s deep voice sent a shiver through my spine. I turned around and found all of the boys laughing uncontrollably. I couldn’t not laugh. They were so cute. Dan laid his arm around my shoulder and we all started to walk towards the nearest pub. We were a bit tipsy from the drinks at the venue, I guess, but that only made it easier to talk. I wasn’t usually good at socializing when I was sober.

When we got inside the pub, Dan and I decided we’d go to the bar, while the rest of the lot went to use the rest room.

– You know, I actually wondered if I should contact you while I was in London, but I decided I shouldn’t, I told Dan when we’d gotten our drinks.

– What stopped you? He asked, and looked genuinely hurt.

– You know, we haven’t talked for a long time, and I didn’t knew if you still lived here. Hell, I wasn’t even sure you’d remember me.

– How could I ever forget you, Katrine? You’re the only girl who has ever made me feel pure happiness.

I didn’t know how to answer that. I was dumbstruck. I couldn’t believe Dan Motherfucking Smith actually said those things to me. I just smiled.

– Hey you, say something, Dan said and waved a hand in front of my face. I guess I had zoned out a bit again. – It is not enough to be dumbstruck, you know? He smirked.

– Oh, quoting your self are you? You’re SOOO cool, I said and laughed.

He blushed a bit, but then started laughing too. Gosh, he was so cute when he blushed.
