Days prior to Kit Walkers release from Briarcliffe Manor, Joe Anne Jones commits suicide.
Kit Walker notices the cell to his beloved Joe Anne Jones has been empty for a while. Not thinking anything of it, he continues his day.
Later that day he stops by the shower & toilet rooms of the asylum.
The door had blood running from beneath it. The door had been locked, but Kit Walker had enough force to break it down.
He enters the bathroom to the floor plastered with blood, Joe Anne Jones against a wall - soaking in it.
A shard of wire rest in her hands as he sees her wrist butchered.
Kit Walker cries out for help as he cradles his soul mate.
Joe Anne Jones explains that she'll never get released (Do to being "diagnosed" with schizophrenia after the abortion of her child) and doesn't want to be in the asylum without Kit Walker.
She dies in Kit Walkers arms, soaking his clothes with blood, with out him even being to say goodbye.

Jonathan Jones was a wealthy businessman. He had married Joe Anne Jones in hopes for sexual pleasure and gloating.
Joe Anne Jones was head over heels for Jonathan Jones, before she found out about the serpent who truly was underneath.
One day, Joe Anne Jones had found out she was blessed with a child.
Ecstatic of the news, she explained to her husband that it was such an amazing scene.
Joe Anne Jones had always wanted a baby. She created names for them before she was the age of five years.
To her this was a dream come true.
Johnathan Jones did not want a child, He hated children, and if his trophy wife were to have a child she'd be "Ugly" & "Fat".
He ordered an abortion at once.
Joe Anne Jones Refused immediately.
She would keep refusing, even when Johnathan Jones would scold or strike her - Her Striking him back most of the time.
The drifted night came.
Johnathan Jones had slipped a drug into Joe Anne Jones drink during supper, in hopes to knock her out.
As she faded out, she could not tell what was going to happen.
Joe Anne Jones awoken hours later.
She lay in the comfort of her bed, blankets a top of her.
Her thoughts told her that she must have went to bed without realizing it. They remained like that until she lifted her quilts.
Blood came in waves among her sheets.She would grip her stomach knowing that her dream had died out.
Tears streamed down her face.
She ran outside on the busy street, repeating the words He took my baby! He took my baby! Causing by standers to look at her in horror.
Johnathan Jones rushed to her. He would explain that she wasn't pregnant in the first place, and that she was on some type of drug.
He would continue this story to her family.
So Concerned for their Daughter, Oldest & Baby Sister, they sent her to BriarCliffe Manor.
Johnathan Jones threatening her that she would die in the asylum.
