Chapter:3 red

I must look so red right now

I'm blushing after what four just said

Tris stop it you don't like him I mean I know he's really hot and his eyes are so breath taking Oo and I like the way he laughs it's really cute

"Whoo tris" Christina waves her hand in my face snapping me out of my trance

"You keep staring at him" Marlene whispers in my ear

"Shut up" I playfully push her

"Come on he's totally in to you he was blabbering about you to Zeke " Shaunna says

"Really?" I say

"See I told you ! she totally likes him!" Chrissy says

"Oh please shut up Ill talk to you about it later!" I say to her

"Fine" she says frustrated

We walk through the soft grass as the willow trees sway to rythm of the trees

We walk over to the large lake and look at the many canoes , kayaks and paddle boards in the water ready

"We should do that later !" Lynn shouts

"Yeah that sounds like fun!" will agrees

We walk past the volly ball and basket ball courts

And up to a big shaded area of trees and rivers with bridges over small ponds

There's lots of big rocks to sit on and benches with lawn chairs

We follow the rock path up to the game room and snack bar

"Hey who wants ice cream?" Uriah yells

"We all do!!!" we all yell

We all pounce to the snack bar and find out selves drooling over all the choices

Four comes up next to me

I try my best to keep my cheeks from heating up

"Hey" he mutters

"Um... h..hi" I try and not stutter

Im utterly unsuccessful

" What are you getting?" he asks kind of awkwardly

" I was just thinking of getting a Oreo milkshake " I reply happily

" Oh really me to I love them !" he says

"Wow that's cool " I say

"Yeah"

You can practically feel the awkwardness between us

"Hi there what can I get you guys" a you girl asks behind the table

"We will both have a Oreo milk shake please " Four says before I can answer

"That will be $5 please" the girl says

Four takes a 5 dollar bill out of his pocket

"No I'll pay !!" I say

"Nope to late" he says while popping the p

" No that's not fair !" I say as I punch him playfully

"Sorry already paid" he says and smiles

"Here you are" the girl says and hands us our milkshakes

"Thank you" i say

While every one els was ordering and paying for there treats me and four walk out

"Guys well meet you by the benches" I yell as I walk out the door

We choose a bench that's under a nice willow tree

"So do you like it?" he asks calmly as we sit down

I tuck my knees to my chest.

"Heck yeah it's like sucking heaven through a straw" I say happily

"Well I can agree with that " he replys

"So I never knew you lived next door to me "i say

"Well I knew you did, I saw you walk home from school a lot and I was like hey that's tris but I didn't have the guts to say hi" he says

"Aww is big bad a Four afraid?". I say in a baby voice

He pushes me a little

I sip more of my drink

"Hey I'm not scared of you !" he says playfully

"Haha sure Four" I say

"Whatever" he says

"Your not what I thought you would be " I say honestly

"Really ? what did you think I was going to rip you to shreads of buy you a magical poney?" he asks sarcastically

"Well no, your just not a jerk!" I answer

"Well yeah I'm a lot more than I seam " he says

"I guess so "

We start to eat more of our milkshakes and stare off into to peace full lake

I see Uriah and Marlene sitting together too

And Zeke and Shaunna

All of our groups are in couples just talking and laughing

I turn to see he's staring at me

With those big blue eyes that I dare not look away from

" I like this we should do it again some time " he says and smiles

"Yeah we should " I smile and blush

"Tomorrow night at 6:00?" he asks

"Four are you asking me on a date"? I ask

"I don't know, but if I did would you say yes?"

"Of course"
