Laurens Pov:
"LISA, LISA, LISA GET UP!!!"
I can't help but laugh as I watch my little sister Dani attacking my older sister with a pillow. Lisa refuses to 'rise from the grave' as Christina would say and well Dani just was not having it. "Lauren, help me" I hear Lisa mumble from under the pillows. "okay..." I grab a pillow of my own and start whacking her too. "So not what i meant" Lisa screamed. "Well It's what I heard."
*BEEP* my phone buzzes. I pull it out and see another text from none other than Jason. Jason is this guy I met a few days ago and he keeps asking me out because dani gave him my number. I keep telling him no but he wont give in. "I hope your happy Dani, that was Jason AGAIN" I said. "I still think you like him" Dani teased. "EH WRONG but thanks for playing" I sarcastically say as I head out of the room. I still can't believe she gave him my number, she'll never leave me alone because I've never had a boyfriend and I'm 15. She keeps saying how sad I am but I'm just too focused on music right now plus if I ever do get a boyfriend my other sisters will lose it. Especially Lisa and Christina, to this day I am still an infant.
In the kitchen:
"Hey Kath, oooooh pancakes" I grab a stack and sit down beside Amy. "OH MY GOSH KATH, they're sooo gooood" Me and Amy just sat there going mmmmmmmmmmm every time we took a bite. But then again that's not unusual when Katherine makes pancakes. *BEEP* I groan as I notice yet another text from Jason:
J: Will you pretty please just come to dinner with me once?!
L: Ummmm, NO!
"Jason again?" asked Amy. I made a face of pure sarcasm "what do you think?" Kath asks like she's 14 again "Do you think he likes you?" "I guess so but he doesn't even know me.." I said. "Well we all know that almost every guy that sees you thinks you're gorgeous" Amy giggled. "No they don't" I shout blushing like crazy. "YES they DO" Amy and Kath say in unison. "So we know he thinks you're pretty" said Katherine starting to get a little too excited. "Okay....I think you have emotionally scarred me enough for one morning, so byeeee" I blurt before rushing to the door.
At the Park:
I pulled my journal out of my rucksack and started writing some song ideas, these were my more personal ones, I like to keep my own. I suddenly notice a shadow, please don't be Jason, please don't be Jason, please don't be.... "Hey Laur, It's me Jason remember!" he says. I sighed as I looked up and saw him. He was out of breath and a little red in the face so I could tell he must've ran over here. As annoying as he is I couldn't help but be a little flattered that a cute guy was into me. He's got dark hair and blue eyes and.... wait why do I care, no I can't like him! "checking out my amazing looks aren't ya Laur" he winked at me. "uh no ewww" I say and try not to blush. "uh yes" he said. "just leave me alone" I groaned. "oh whoa, someone's feisty today, so what ya writing?" he snatched the book from me. "HEY, that's mine" I yell, he can't read those theyre awful! "Lauren, did you write these?" he asked. "That depends on how much you're gonna make fun of me.." I trailed off because he started to sing!

"Lauren, this is an incredible song, I.." He couldn't say much more before I snatched back my journal and sprinted home, nobody had ever read my songs before, oh come on now I'm starting to cry! I need to stop eugh! I wipe away a few tears before entering the house running straight to the bathroom and locking the door, I couldn't risk going to my room because theres a very good chance Lisas in there. I sat on the edge of the bath and attempted not to cry, It's just too hard not to let the tears fall. I always knew one day someone would read one of my songs but I thought it would be one of my sisters or my mom or well... anyone but him. I can barely talk to him properly.
"Lauren?" oh shoot "Lauren, is that you, are you okay?" damnit Katherine heard me! "I'm fine, I blurt, I'm just trying to find my lipgloss!" It was all I could think of. "Then why'd you lock the door and I think Amy borrowed it last night so it might be in our room." Guess I better clean these tears "Okay, coming" I said and ran past her and back to my room. "Hey" said Dani and Lisa together, they were sitting by the laptop so probably editting a video. "Hi" I squeaked. "Why are you being all shy Laurfonzo, did something happen?" Lisa asked. "I saw Jason again" Whoa that slipped out. "No Way" squealed Dani. "Did he ask you out again, you didnt say yes did you?" Lisa seemed worried. "Oh gosh no, nothing like that he just was super annoying!" I exclaimed. "what'd he do?" they said together, its creepy they can do that, then again we all can. "ummm......" Oh shoot now what do I say! "He just um well,I..." Theyre staring at me. "Laur, what happened" asked Lisa. "Okay fine! He snatched my journal and read part of it" I groaned. "What did he read?" Dani asked, they both actually looked a bit guilty for making me say it. "Here" I tossed the journal at them, may aswell read it too because I think I've stopped caring!" I say as I march out of the room, down the stairs and back out the front door.
Lisa's P.O.V
"WOW, Lauren's songs are so good!" Dani squealed. She wasn't wrong, these songs are amazing, I just can't believe little LoLo wrote them. We all know she can write but these songs were so deep and real she must've worked so hard on them. I just don't understand why she's never showed them to us before, I mean were such a close family and we always tell eachother everything so why didn't she show us! "I'll go find her." Dani said, but I stopped her "no, let me talk to her." "Okay" said Dani looking a little confused. "Trust me, just don't show anyone else the songs until Lauren says it's okay." I said. "Good point" winked Dani as she put the book under Laurens pillow. I nodded then went downstairs and out the door and started running to the beach, thats where Lauren always goes when she's alone. And there she was sitting on the rock where she always is, she looks at peace. Then I notice shes watching the sunset alone again. I know she loves watching that alone so I waited for the sun to go down before i shouted...
Lauren's P.O.V
As I'm sitting on this same rock, at the same beach I always go to, somehow the beauty of the sunset still amazes me. It's somehow comforting for me to watch the sun go down alone. Its so beautiful, and down and down it goes until i'm left in the dark. It's okay though because now the moon is shining just enough light for me to see the waves bobbing up and down.
"Laur!" I jumped up as I recognized Lisa's voice, how long has she been there? "hi" I said quietly. "Are you okay?" she said, I just stared at her. "Never mind stupid question clearly this is bothering you." she said. Lisa knows how to read my mind sometimes which I love because it means I can talk less. She just sat on the rock beside me and brought me into a hug, I resisted for a second but then I started sobbing into her shoulder. We had a really long heart to heart and I don't know how we got here but next thing I know she's tickling me until I can't breathe. "No, Lisa stop!" I choked through laughs. "Only if you promise to stop being sad!" she yelled. To think she's read psychology before, but I guess it works cause only a matter of seconds later I yelled; "Okay, fine I promise!" She immediately stopped tickling me and we just talked for what felt like forever.
