Dani's Pov:

"Dani, are you okay?" asked Christina. I just shook my head and she put her arm around me. All six of us were outside the hospital on a bench. We had gone in to see Lauren and she still wasn't awake, but I was kind of glad because I hadn't been prepared for what I saw. The girl lying in that bed wasn't Lauren, yes she has her face but not her body or her smile. Its like a deflated, beaten, battered version of Lauren. I'd know what to say to my sister but not to her ghost. I had to get out of there so I left and my sisters followed, I don't think any of us were ready anyway. "So, Lauren looked........different." said Amy awkwardly. Lisa stood up and looked at us all "What is wrong with us?!" she yelled. "Our sister is in there and were out here because we can't face her?! What does that say about us as people?!" she was practically screaming now, she looked so angry, not just at us but at herself. I get it, but what can I do? I can't look at my Sugar when she looks so broken, but then Iknow.....I have to. Then as if on cue, Alex came outside. "She's awake!" he said and then ran straight back inside. We all stood up slowly and reluctantly followed him back into the hospital. As I walked down the corridor, I looked around and noticed a crying woman being comforted by a nurse, it made me realise she probably just heard some awful news and here I was feeling sorry for myself rather than looking out for Lauren! In that moment I immediately started running, I have to see my sister now! I stopped right outside the room completely. As my sisters caught up to me Katherine said "Why aren't you going in, are you still nervous?" Then I turned to look at them and said "Can we please do something for Laurie?" They all nodded. Then Amy's face lit up and she walked into the room first follwed by each one of us as our parts came up.

[Amy:]

Then we all stopped to stare at Lauren and of course...   [Lauren:]

It was perfect and instantly we all burst into tears! We all crowded around Lauren and hugged her as a group. She was crying softly and I pulled away to look at her properly. "Laur, the band is not better without you, we fell apart when you left, we need you here! I need my Sugar!" I said. She didn't say anything because she didn't have to, I know I had helped but Lauren has just been through hell and it's going to take alot more than this for her to heal. She needs time so she can heal both physically and mentally but honetly I'm so grateful she's still alive and with us again!! 

Jason's Pov:

Laur gets to go home today, she's still very thin and weak and covered in scars but those things will heal over time. Whats incredible is that the doctor thought Lauren wouldn't be able to walk again for a long time if ever because she had broken several bones in both legs! What the doctor dosen't know about Lauren is that if you give her a challenge she rises to it fast. After 6 weeks of intense physical therapy she's healing much faster than expected. The nurse said Lauren is one of the most determined patients she has ever seen, I'm so proud of her. She may have a weak body right now but she has a ridiculously strong heart! Her sisters seem to be getting better at dealing with how much Lauren has changed. What we all can't wait for is to actually finally get her to tell us what happened while she was out there, because we all see the pain clear as day! She just refuses to talk about it.
