Dustin's P.O.V
“Fine, go, but don't expect me to come riding after you on my valiant steed as your knight in shining armour,” I called after Aisling as she walked away from me laughing and left me sitting alone on a park bench at dusk.
I looked around me. The shadows started to grow towards me, creeping over the ground. The air got colder and the swing set began to creek even though there was no wind. The clouds rolled in the sky to reveal the full moon on black and there was no one else around. No cars, no bikes, no pedestrians.
I was all alone.
“Hey,” said a voice behind me.
“AHHMOTHER-” I screamed, falling forward off the bench...
Is that it? What do you mean is that it? What did you expect? A writer like me to just GIVE you the first chapter? Are you insane? Or just overly hopeful?
