Silently Falling

"Melinda wake up!" Mom shouted from downstairs "You don't want to be late for your first day!"

I groan out loud and cover my head with my thick furry sheet, feeling warm as sleepiness take over my body.

Beep beep!

My damn alarm woke me up followed by my mom entering my room.

"Get your ass out of bed!" She shouted while dragging the sheet off me.

Cold air then plaster my skin as I shiver a bit. "Am up!" I shouted then got up lazily making my way to the  bathroom.

I took a quick shower then wrap in my towel making my way to my walk in closet finding it empty. I totally forgot that I didn't unpack my boxes and suitcases.

I left from England my home country where I was born, where all my friends and families are and also where a lot of memories are, but sadly I got to leave all of those behind because of my selfish cold hearted father who cheated on my mother with her best friend. Mom and dad were married for about fifteen years. Mom loves him with all her heart she would die for him. When mom found out about dad cheating on her, her heart was broken in a million pieces it took about three months for her to get over it but I know deep down she is still suffering inside but she hide it away from me with a smile everyday. She plans to move to Canada to start anew which I think is good for her ,too many memories are back at our old home which causes her to silently breakdown. But now new home, new start and time to build happy memories and I will make sure of that I will do everything to make my mom happy again.

I ramble through my suitcase finally find a perfect outfit to wear. I throw on a black tight jeans, a pink blouse with "Queen" written on it in black and a pair of white sneakers. I do my makeup light blush, eyeliner and light pink lipstick. I then put my long black hair in a high ponytail. I grab my bag and my phone and hurried downstairs.

"Bye mom!" I yelled while rushing out the door but before I could make it outside mom pull me back in.

"Your not leaving this house without breakfast" she said.

"Mom am going to be late" I grumbled.

"OK fine have a great day at school" she said I hug her tight then run out the door.

I was just in time to catch the school bus I hop in the bus where I saw a lot of unfamiliar faces staring at me I ignore them and sat at the window looking outside my new neighborhood.

Ping!

My phone screen lit up I quickly look at my phone. It's Amelia my best friend from England.

Hey bitch I miss you!! How's everything?

I smiled at the message from my dramatic friend.

To : Amelia

I miss you too Melia :(  on my way to my new school I wish you were here miss laughing at your jokes :)

Not even a minute later she reply.

From Amelia :
I know there is no fun with out me but I promise I will visit you in Christmas :)
