I am just turning 11 with my stupid cousin Peter. I am Tobias Eaton. My birthday is tomorrow and they won't care, nobody would. Like always. Last year they had a work party and didn't even know it was on my birthday, but on Peter's birthday he gets spoiled gets tons of presents and picks a fun place to go.

He picked the Zoo, we walked by the ducks, and all of the ducks looked dead, seagulls, flamingos and a bunch of random birds. We went in the reptile section and he started to FREAK out because the snake wasn't moving and he grabbed a butter knife and tried to stab the glass. I was getting embarrassed and mad, all of the sudden he fell into the snake cage. He looked up and the glass was there, he was locked in and the snake was scaring everyone at the Zoo.

Peters mom and dad called the Zoo employees and they had to take the glass pane off to get him out. The Zoo keeper asked how he got in there in the first place but nobody knew how, I didn't even know what happened.

We went home with Peter crying his eyes out. I went to get the mail and I looked through it one of the letters had my name on it!! I never get mail. The letter read,

I gave my Aunt and Uncle the letters that weren't mine and took mine but Peter yelled, "HE HAS GOT A LETTER!"

I started running but my Uncle grabbed me and took my letter, he only looked at the outside. And then at me, creepily. He sent me to my cupboard and I just sat there wondering why my life was so messed up

In the morning my Aunt made some eggs, mine were cold and I only got about 4 tablespoons. They sat in the living room, watching T.V when I saw tons if owls outside. I wanted to speak up but as I was about to I felt a rumble. All of the sudden a bunch of letters, addressed to me! I tried to grab one and I got it. I ran into my cupboard and opened it it read,

Dear Four,

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

The term begins on September 1st. We await your owl by no later than July 31st.

Some thing was banging on the door and it broke. Someone burst in and said "Come on now Four!! We have got to get your Hogwarts materials. I am Zoë by the way"

"Hi, can we leave now. Peter is coming, with a butter knife so..... we should go"

Zoë looked up, grabbed me and threw me in a motorcycle ride along. We rode super fast, through the sky and we landed at a pub.
