Love has no boundaries
Chapter 2
The next morning Selena got up and saw the light shine on her beautiful girlfriends face. She brushed some loose hair behind her ear and smiled. Selena then kissed her cheek and said. "Rise and shine love bug." Melissa smiled and woke up seeing Selena's face. "Good morning beautiful." Selena said. Melissa smiled and said. "Good morning love, did you wake up before me?" Selena nodded. Melissa smiled. "I'm so ready to leave this house." Selena chuckled. "Me too, but first we need breakfast." Melissa nodded.
Once Selena made breakfast for herself and her girlfriend she noticed that Melissa was a little bored. Selena smiled mischievously and started to tickle her. Melissa giggled and enjoyed the attention she got from Selena. She then wrapped her arms around Melissa's waist and said. "I will never let you go; you are the love of my life. I promise." Melissa smiled and said. "Really, you'll never let me go?" Selena nodded. "I love you so much Melissa in the past few hours I have gotten to know you so much better than when I first saw you perform." Melissa smiled. Selena then leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips. Melissa kissed her back immediately and wrapped her arms around her neck. She was so happy that she had found someone that loves her for who she was. Selena loves Melissa so much she has a hard time describing it.
Before Melissa and Selena left, Melissa told her big brother Gabe to tell their mom where she was, she said she come back in a little while just didn't tell him when. After Selena got everything Melissa wanted and needed she helped Melissa get into her car and drove to her house. On the way Selena reached out her hand and held Melissa's. "I know it's hard leaving your home, but we'll visit, don't worry." Melissa. "It's not the leaving home. I never considered that place my home. When I was performing that's where I was home." Selena nodded. "Well I hope you will feel at home with me." Melissa smiled and nodded.
Once they got to Selena's house she felt at peace, her life was going to be better. Selena looked at her girlfriend who was on the piano playing a song she knew well. Selena fell in love with her even more with her playing music. Selena then said. "You are very talented Melissa. Was that song I can only imagine?" Melissa nodded in awe. "How did you know that?" Selena smiled. "It's one of my favorite songs. Please keep playing, I want to sing along." Melissa nodded. She started at the beginning so Selena could follow along. Selena smiled and took a deep breath before starting. As she sang with Melissa's accompaniment Melissa smiled as she was doing something she loved.
She already felt at home, when she was with her family she couldn't do much playing without her siblings being annoyed at her. As she kept playing she heard Selena sing beautifully as she kept up with the lyrics. Melissa then wanted to change it up a bit to another song she knew, but didn't know how Selena would feel about it. She looked at Selena who smiled and nodded. Selena was able to somehow hear Melissa's thoughts inside her head. She knew the song Melissa would change it to so she was fine with it.
Then Melissa started playing the song Break even by the Script. As she played the song she and Selena had a mental communication as to who would go first. It was decided that Melissa went first and Selena went second. Once the song got to the end Melissa took the high part and sang it like a pro. Selena was amazed that Melissa could do that high part. Then the song ended and Selena sat next to her girlfriend. "I never knew you could play other music besides your own. You truly have a beautiful talent." Melissa blushed. "Thanks Sel, I have been playing since I was seven and I haven't stopped since." Selena smiled and said. "Well that's quite a long time to play the piano." Melissa nodded. "Yeah but I love it."
Around three in the afternoon Selena and Melissa went on a date at a nearby park. Selena had set up a picnic for their date. "Where are your sunglasses Sel?" Melissa asked. Selena smiled and said. "I thought if I wore my sunglasses then I wouldn't be able to see your beautiful face, sweetheart." Melissa blushed and said. "You really think I'm beautiful Selena?" Selena smiled at her girlfriend and nodded. "I do think you are beautiful, baby." Melissa smiled and kissed Selena's cheek. "You know, I never got to tell you how at home I feel with you." Selena smiled. "Really?" Melissa nodded. "Even when I was at home whenever I am with you I know I am safe with you." Selena smiled. "I'm glad I can do that for you when you do the same for me." She said softly. Melissa smiled. She leaned in and captured Selena's lips in a soft, gentle kiss. Selena smiled and kissed her back feeling so much love between them. As they deepened the kiss Selena gently set her down on the picnic blanket going on top of her but making sure not to scare her girlfriend. Melissa smiled really enjoyed this moment but felt a flashback come on. She clung on to Selena for dear life trembling in fear.
Selena held her close soothing her with soft words of love and tenderness. Selena then noticed that Melissa was feeling short of breath. Her girlfriend was hyperventilating. She rubbed her back gently trying to sooth the horrible past. Melissa soon got out of it and looked at Selena who had a look of worry and concern on her face. Selena said. "Are you alright my love?" Melissa shook her head. "I'm sorry I had that traumatic relapse." Selena shook her head and kissed Melissa's forehead. "There is no need to apologize love." Melissa nodded. She ate the things in Selena's basket and then said to her she was tired.
Selena took her home and then started looking at her Mac book. Selena found a special gift for Melissa that she would love. Plane tickets to Ogden, Utah and also a chance to see her friends again. Melissa was sleeping soundly on Selena's lap and Selena just smiled at how beautiful and peaceful she looked. She felt so much love for Melissa it was like they were meant to happen.
Melissa woke up an hour later from her short nap feeling refreshed. Selena then turned around from cooking dinner and smiled. She made sure that everything was okay before she went over to kiss her girlfriend. Melissa smiled at Selena and said. "Hey Sel. Sorry I fell asleep earlier." Selena smiled and shook her head, and kissed Melissa's forehead. "It's alright love, how are you doing?" Melissa smiled and said. "I'm doing a lot better now, thanks." Selena looked concerned but smiled and nodded. "That's good." Melissa smiled and said. "What's for dinner?" Selena smiled. "I just thought of macaroni and cheese is that okay?" Melissa nodded. "That's fine babe. It's one of my favorite things to eat, besides pizza and cake." Selena smiled. "Alright well we'll have that more often." Melissa smiled. "Okay, do you need any help?" Selena shook her head. "I'm alright; you can work on something's you have for school until I'm done okay?" Melissa nodded.
Luckily her brother Gabe made her bring her back pack with her so she can work on her homework. When she lived in Ogden she only had a few friends since she was bullied very often at school, her big brother Gabe was her protector and her older brother Jacob was as well as her older sister Brianna. Melissa tended to protect her little sister Lilly. Now she can't really do that for her little sister even though she got beat up more than her sister. Melissa loves her siblings they help her out; sometimes they annoy her to death.
Once dinner was ready she and Selena started talking about Melissa's school life. Melissa said she didn't really have that many friends until she moved here with her family. Selena didn't understand why Melissa didn't have that many friends when she was a very lovable person to begin with.
After they got done with dinner they sat on the couch and cuddled watching "Pitch perfect" Selena had her arms around Melissa's waist and just traced the skin on her lover's stomach. She rubbed her hand over the soft area of her lover's belly. Melissa smiled and said. "Sel, what are you doing?" Selena smiled at her girlfriend and said "I just love you at the moment." Melissa smiled and laid her head on her girlfriend's shoulder. "I love you so much Melissa." Selena said softly to her love. Melissa turned her head a little and kissed Selena. "I love you too she said softly. They fell asleep on her comfy couch while cuddled up close to each other.
