The four that had managed to escape Mount Weather had been walking for hours. Anya was leading the other three, and despite Cayden's arguments, Sienna was also going to the Commander. But Cayden had a plan.
"Anya, we've been walking for hours. Where are we going?" Clarke asked frustratedly.
"Quiet." Anya snapped as she dragged Clarke thought the green woods.
"Why not just kill me and get it over with?" Clarke asked as she panted.
"You can tell the Commander what the Mountain Men are doing to us there." Anya explained to Clarke.
"So let's work together." Anya turned around sharply to look at the blonde as she spoke. "We don't have to be enemies."
"And unite with someone as weak as you? I have what I need." Anya said before she turned, but Clarke pulled her back.
"Hey. We both want the same thing." Clarke said before a tranquilizer dart was shot in their direction.
"Cayden, down." Anya ordered as the four of them ducked.
"Run." Anya ordered before her and Clarke ran off.
Cayden and Sienna watched as Anya and Clarke ran off. The girl knew exactly what Cayden was planning, and she didn't like it. Cayden grabbed Sienna and pulled her, but she pulled back.
"I can't leave Clarke." Sienna said sternly as Cayden continued to pull on her arm.
"I'm trying to do what's best for you right now. I can get you home. I can help you find the others. Your mother." Cayden argued.
"My mother is dead, Cayden." Sienna snapped, her blue eyes turning glossy.
"I'm trying to keep you from not being like her. Dead. Let's go." Cayden argued before the two began to run.

The two had been running for a while, but the Mountain Men were still behind them. Once they got to a spot that could cover them, they ducked and Cayden quickly put mud on his face thinking they were following their scent. He then placed it on Sienna's face.
"Cayden. I don't think they're tracking us the way you think they are. Check for a small bump underneath your skin. If I'm right, there should be a small chip that's helping them find us." Sienna explained as she began to search her skin.
"Does it look something like this?" Cayden asked as he pointed to the small bump underneath his skin.
"That's it. I can probably cut it out or something." Sienna said before she looked around for a sharp rock, but Cayden bit the chip out from his skin. "That's one way to do it. Let me cover it up so it doesn't get infected."
