When I came out of the bathroom, I mentally chastised myself, How could I have been so careless? I had let my emotions slip through the cages that held them. I will have to be more careful next time... I resolved.

Walking down the stairs I looked around. My mind distorting slightly as I realised it was dark. Lights out.

I shook my head  disgusted, my eyes still blurry from the tears.

I grabbed a snack before heading up to my room. I would leave calling Dustin to tomorrow.

I pretty much dragged myself up the stairs and into my bed. Shoes and all.

I remembered doing this with Karrie, we would curl up and eat ice cream, revealing our deepest secrets without so much as thinking.

Tap Tap Tap. the sound came from my window. I ingnord it at first thinking it was just a bird or something.

Tap Tap Tap.

I lay in bed. Silently hoping it was just an animal. I didn't know what dragged my out of my bed and over to the window, but I guessed it was the same confidence that I had talking to the guys on the first day.

I opened my window, the fresh air blew over my face and I smiled it reminded me of the times I snuck out to see Dustin.

"Hey!" I heard someone below me call. I gasped as I saw olive skinned hands grasping my window ceal.

"Kalbe?" I exclaimed, "What are you doing?" I whisper shouted, knowing my Mum would go ape if she saw him.

"Yeah. I was just wondering if you were coming to the bonfire?" He seemed casual as he hauled himself up to a sitting position. He was hunched over as he sat, and much to my attempts to remain allegiant I couldn't help my teen hormones. He looked incredibly attractive.

I quickly snuck a look behind my shoulder and shhhhed Kalbe.

"Well..... I shouldn't. Mum said no." I said frowning, "And I'm not even ready."

"She dosen't want to come." I heard Kalbe call to someone.

"No! I do want to..  I just..."

"Yeah I understand." He replied.

"Just drag her down here!" A voice that was unmistakeably Kaleb's called out.

"No... I shouldn't. If she dosen't want to..." He replied.

"Okay. Move. I'm coming up to get her!"

Kalbe dropped and I reached out the window, letting out a small shriek.

"Are you okay?" I whisper shouted again.

"Sure babe, he's fine." I heard Kaleb answer in a flirtatious yet dismissal voice.

I felt a hand grab my wrist and drag me half out the window.

"No! No way. There is nothing you can do that will make me move." I said stubbornly.

"It's okay! I'll catch you!" Kalbe called.

"You can't make me-" I screamed slightly as Kaleb yanked me out the window. And for a second I thought I was going to fall to a bloody death out of my two story window when I was pulled to a stop. I almost had my arm ripped out of it's socket.

I was pulled up into the tree that resided beside my house and into Kaleb' s hands.

"Ouch!" I said, "That hurt!" It was when I opened my eyes that I realised how close we really were. Our faces were inches apart. One of us could easily slip and our lips would be locked.
