Julien's Surprise: Japan (2)- Chapter 12

[Julien's POV]

I've successfully lured Jenna into my trap. Not in a weird predator way or anything, but I have her where I want her. She asked me to get her food and she's luckily craving sushi today. It's almost 8pm and I'm almost back to our room. Y'all know what 8pm means. I left vloggie right where I want him, and currently have my GoPro hiding on the nightstand, recording a timelapse of the upcoming sunset. "Jenna, I gots food!" I yell, right before turning into our bedroom. She's already got pajamas on and her hair up. "Thanks, ot. I'm still unpacking a little." She pouts a little bit and hugs me. "Okay baby, I'll get some plates and napkins and we can eat right out here." I announce and gesture to the balcony.

In a few minutes I have our sushi plated at the small bistro table outside of our bedroom. I even lit a few candles to make it look extra special. The sun is nearly mid-set when Jenna finally comes out. I quickly turn vloggie on and stand to greet her. "You know I love you?" I pull her into my arms. "Of course, otter!" She looks toward the sky. "Japan really is amazing. I don't know if this trip can get any better, and we've been here for barely four hours." While Jenna is distracted, I grab a little box out of my back pocket. "You've made me so incredibly happy for the past four and a half years. I have literally no clue where I'd be without you. You, Marple, Cermit, and paesh were the best things that could've happened to me." Without giving Jenna time to react, I kiss her on the forehead and get down on one knee. "Jenna Nicole Mourney. Will you marry me?" I open the box and place the little ring on her finger. For the first time in her life, Jenna is speechless. She pulls me close and kisses me. In only seconds, I feel her cold tears on my cheek. "What's wrong, otter?" I ask, wiping her tears away. "Japan just got so much better!"
