As I lay on my bed my bestfriend Carly and her new boyfriend Chad walk in. Honestly they look more like siblings than boyfriend girlfriend. Both pretty and handsome with blonde hair and blue eyes. Me on the other hand black hair and brighter blue eyes.
"Come on we are going to be late" Chad says leaning on my door with his hands in his pocket
"Late for what" I asked leaning up from my bed
"His race" Carly says jumping in excitement
"Oh ok" I say still unsure of what she means but I just go along with it

"We're here" Chad says parking the car in an alley way
Something seems weird we are in an alley way with amazing fast cars.
Oh my god.
"You never said a drag race!" I yell at Chad and Carly
"Chill its not that bad" Chad says as we walk to the big group of people
"Its illegal" I yell again and I see people laughing at me
The girls are dressed in skanky outfits like Carly is and im in a sweatshirt and jeans
"Shhh, youll make me look bad" Chad says "Ill see you two in a bit" Chad says kissing Carly and leaning on his orange car with green flames
At this point there is four spots and only three are filled in Chads car, a red plain car with big wheels, and a yellow car with green rims on the wheels.
"Oh my god look" A girl yells from a far pointing at what I assume is the last racer
"Oh my god, that Derek" Chad says leaning up from his car
"No way" Carly says leaning on Chads arm
"Who is Derek" I ask in confusion
"Shhh, again youre making me look bad." Chad says "But Derek is the best drag racer here. He usually keeps to himself but when he is racing its like he is a whole new person" Chad explains
"He is also smoking" A girl from my side with the flag says "To bad he keeps to himself, cause every girl here wants him" She says as she walks over to exaime the cars to make sure no one cheats
"Oh" I say not really caring. Im more concerned with the fact that this is illegal and dangerous
"Derek!" Abunch of people yell as he gets out of his car
He is beautiful. Blue eyes with dark brown hair. He is gorgeous.
He waves and the racers get in their cars.
"I know im not going to win. But its an honor racing with him" Chad says kissing Carly once more and getting in his car
" Ready.... Set...... Go...." The girl says waving the flag
They all set off and everybody cheers.
The race last about 10 minutes. Derek in first. and Chad second then the yellow car third and the orange car forth
And out of nowhere sirens go off.
"COPS!" a man yells from behind me but by the time I turn to look for Carly and Chad they are gone
"Help!" I yell hoping someone will give me a ride
But no one helps me they all just drive away leaving no cars here and police coming for me
"Get in" A man says from behind me stopping his car
"Youre Derek" I say in shock
"Get in" He says once more opening the passenger door
I get in and we are off. In a matter of seconds we are no where near the police or alleyway.
"Thank you" I say as he drives with one hand on the wheel and his head resting on the other one on the door
"Who did you come with" He asked eyes still on the road
"My friend and her boyfriend who was racing" I say
"Ok" He says eyes still on the road
"Where are we going?" I ask unaware of where I am
"All the racers and people go to a desert area after each race to drink and hangout. Also to reward me" He says giggling at the last words
"Oh sounds fun" I say lieing in an awkward say
"I guess" He says pulling in the back of the party area "But im not going so you can walk from here" He says opening my passenger door
"Why are you so far away?" I ask getting out
"Cause I have stuff to do" He says driving off as I walk to the party
I spot Carly and Chad making out and I am furious with them
"You guys left me" I yell pushing Chad
"We are so sorry, to many police and we looked for you" Carly says
"I never even moved!" I yell again
"Lets just take you home. How did you get here anyways?" He ask as we walk to his car
"Derek" I say
"Hahaha right" Chad and Carly say at the same time
"Its true" I yell getting in the car
"Oh we believe you" Chad says as we drive off
"Whatever" I say crossing my arms and leaning into my seat in the back

"Ill see you later girly, love you" Carly says as they drive off from dropping me off at my house
As I walk in I see my brother Parker and his girlfriend Jordin "Hey guys"
"Your out late?" Parker says in a question way
"I went to a race" I say walking my way to my room
"Ohhhh I see" Parker says winking at me
He is so weird
I finally just fall asleep from what ever just happened tonight. I need alot of rest.
