"Hello?" I say as I wash out my hair in the shower
"Sorry, I just need a quick thing" Derek says as I hear him moving stuff on the counter "And I am out of here" He says almost leaving but I stop him
"Derek, wait" I say opening the shower curtains
"Uh, yes?" Derek says obviously awkwardly confused
"Join me" I say starting to blush at my own words
Oh my god. Carter you idiot
"Is that really a good idea?" He says now showing no emotion
"I-i I am so sorry" I say shutting the curtains back and hearing the door close behind him leaving
Oh my god.
"Youre so stupid" I say to myself finishing my shower

"What the hell?" Carly says as we sit in a cafe eating sandwhiches and driving coffee, as I just told her my awkward situation last night
"Yeah, he was all making me feel good about myself and the moment I offer he just changes" I say sipping my drink
"So something really is wrong with him" Carly says
"Yeah, and I want to find out" I say
"Buy him some lunch and that will be an 'Im so sorry you saw me naked and rejected me' apoligy" She says laughing as we get up and leave

"Got you lunch" I say walking in the hotel room while Derek is watching tv
"Thanks but no thanks" He says getting up to go to the bathroom
"No!" I yell running in front of his way dropping the food on the counter and stopping him "We need to talk" I say
"Its fine. I shouldnt have led you on like that last night" He says trying to get through but I push him back
"Its not that. Although I am really sorry about that too." I say looking over to my right and back at Derek "Something is wrong with you. And you need to start talking before I.." I say but stopping and not knowing what to say
"You'll what?" He says laughing
"I'll .. I'll race" I say standing up straight
"Ok. I'll tell. You didnt have to make such a big deal about it" He says walking over to get the food and to the bed
"So you never once mentioned how exactly im in danger. Why am I ?" I ask curiously
"Different question" He says eating some fries
"Exuse me?" I say confused
"Ask a different question. I refuse to answer that" Derek says
Completely pissed off now. I ask why he has been acting the way he is.
"Derek, just tell me whats wrong" I say starting to pout and getting more angry
"I just have daddy issues. And it gets to me sometimes" He says looking at me "Its just personal"
"Thats fine. Thank you for finally telling me" I say heading to the bathroom to take a shower
I realise I shower alot but when you are surrounded by cars 24/7 you tend to smell a bit.
"Carter?" I hear Derek come in the bathroom
"Its fine. Get whatever you need" I say in the shower
"No that not it" He says and its silent for a minute
Then I feel cold air rush on my back and its Derek coming in the shower with me.
"Derek" I say shocked
"Mind if I join?" He says smiling
"Uh yea, I mean of course-" But before I finish he kisses me softly "Oh" I say kind of shocked
"Sorry" He says back up
"Dont be" I say going back for more kisses
