Shea wakes up in a haze as her hang over hits her like an s.u.v slamming against a brick wall. Her brain being the brick wall. She shutters when she feels arms wrap around her waste the same arms that guided her home last night. The same arms she's come to know so well. Shea sits up realizing what time it was remembering her class. She looks over her shoulder at a still sleeping Sasha, and her whole body tenses up after her heart flutters at the sight, 'You'll only hurt yourself if you continue this.' Shea thinks to herself as she pulls the blanket over Sasha's shoulders. Shea pulls off her dress from the night before, and scurries around the room for an outfit. After pulling on a pair on tight skinny jeans, and a fitted t-shirt she grabs her bag and is out the door within seconds.

Shea runs into Peppermint after her class comes to an end before heading back towards her dorm remembering that she had forgotten to lock it, "Where'd you disappear off to last night?" Peppermint asks with a slight smirk, "I uhm... I drunk dialed my ex." Shea gives a sour look, "O.M.G. the ex? THE ex you haven't spoken to in three years. That ex?" Peppermint gushes over the juicy mess Shea had gotten herself into, "She's my only ex." Shea says under her breath, "Look I've gotta go I'll meet up with you later." Shea quickly says, and walks away before Peppermint could say anything else to embarrass her further

Shea stumbles while speed walking towards her dorm, and opens the door coming across a half awake Sasha sitting up in her bed, "I'm sorry I meant to leave last night." Sasha says with embarrassment as she searches the bed for her keys. Shea stands there in shock before bringing herself back down to earth. Her voice, her stance, and her face it's all the same. It all still has the same effect on her, "Uhm no it's all good." Shea chuckles while running her fingers through her own hair. Shea watches as Sasha comes across her keys they loudly jingle in the palm of her hand. Her eyes widen with urgency no please don't leave not now not yet, "Look um do you maybe wanna grab lunch or something? My treat as a thank you for saving me last night." Shea nervously asks, "Uhm." Sasha looks around the room then at Shea after finding her keys clutching them in her hand, "Sure I mean why not." Sasha says while shrugging her shoulders wondering what she had just gotten herself into.

Sasha and Shea sit across from each other both with messy hair from the night before as one sips her coffee, and the other fiddles with her fingers underneath the table out of shear nervousness, "How long has it been again?" Sasha chuckles as they converse back, and fourth trying their best to fill the silence, "Like three years I think? So like how have you been are you still teaching?" Shea asks with a genuine smile, "Well no I left my teaching job about a year ago, and now I'm an art curator here in Chicago." Sasha chuckles, "How that going?" Sasha shrugs her shoulders, "It's different... it's an adjustment but it's better pay and I'm closer to my dad." Shea smiles loosening her shoulders a bit once she feels more comfortable, "Oh, how is he?" Shea asks with raised eye brows, "He's doing pretty well." Shea allows a smile to spread across her lips. The air still tense, but slowly becomes more relaxed once they continue to converse back, and fourth. Shea puts her hands on top of the table finally and lets out a deep sigh, "How's your painting going?" Shea asks before grabbing her lower lip between her teeth. Sasha eyes Shea's movements before answering, "Pretty well I mean as well as it can get. I'm having a show at the end of this week... you should go." Sasha exclaims as she cups her coffee with her hands sipping it tentatively, "Oh I'd love to." Shea lets a grin form across her face. Only for a few seconds. Only long enough for Sasha to capture that beautiful visual picture she's been missing for so long. A lot has changed physically, but at the same time nothing has really changed that much between them. The same questions, and conversations never get old when it comes to their weird routine. Sasha lifts her head up and softens her eyes, "So are you dating anyone. Or is it just the stereo typical college flings?" Sasha asks in the spur of the moment trying to give it off as just another question to fill the silence, but it struck a cord with the both of them, "I don't know I guess flings here, and there." Shea explains with a soft voice, "I never really got to do that in college. I was very all work, and no play." Sasha tries to defuse the suddenly risen tension with a chuckle, "I love how we stopped seeing each other partly because of distance. Then within two years you're in the same city as I am." Shea laughs nervously, "I needed a relocation either I get fired or they recommend me to another business that included what I do for a living." Shea looks at Sasha with furrowed eyebrows, "Why?" She asks tilting her head to the side, "I had an emotional melt down." Sasha lowers her voice before looking at her hands that are currently folded in her lap, "Oh wow I'm sorry."

They both talked for hours on end then decided to go their separate ways. Leaving each other still with that fluttering feeling in the pit of their stomachs. Both wonder, and hope to see each other again. Sasha took it to heart when Shea told her to call her or text her. She said the same in return.
