Jash's POV

It's been two years. Two long, heartbreaking years since I laid eyes on the only woman that I loved and now standing in front of me is non other than Tiyanna Phillips.
You heard me right Tiyanna is standing in all her glorious, unforgettable beauty, shell shocked to see me and so am I. How you may ask have we crossed such paths? Well let me take you back to how I realised that I made the biggest mistake of my life 2 years ago.

EARLIER THAT DAY

'dude you seriously need to get laid. What has it been like two years since you and Anna broke up? I mean get over it and move on' Vickash said while barging into my office like he owned the place. I was currently finishing up some paper work at my office.
'You won't understand how I feel right now. I mean it's been two years but I can't help but feel like I made a mistake.' I said to Vick even though I sound like a complete love sick puppy.
'I know what nani did was rediculous but you got to move on and guess who has a new club launching tonight? This guy and you don't have a choice but to come with me and have a good time. Got it?' He said the last part rather sternly which meant I had no choice indeed.
'Fine. But I'm not getting laid or drinking. I got a meeting with dad tomorrow morning so I can't have a hangover' I said exhausted from just thinking about going to a club.
'OK whatever floats your boat down to my club. Be there at eight sharp. I'll text you the address.' He said while walking out my office to do only God knows what. I would never understand how he's my older brother. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard my phone ringing and I let out a big sigh before answering.
'Hello this is Mr. Singh of Singh's Enterprises, how may I help you?' I said those lines like they were rehearsed but they weren't they were just repeated over and over again from every call that I received.
'Hey Jashy I was just wondering why you weren't answering any of my calls?' Jessica said in her annoying, high pitched voice that drove me nuts.
'I'm busy Jessica. What do you want?' I asked very annoyed. She legit just ruined my entire day.
'I just wanted to see you sweetheart. I miss you.' She said in a sad tone which I knew was fake like her boobs but I just played along.
'Well guess what?' I said with fake enthusiasm
'What?' She said rather excitedly
'I don't miss you and I don't want to hear from you anymore. So drop my number and forget I exist and do us both a favour and stop giving the tabs false hopes thank you very much. Oh and have a nice life without me in it.' I said rather cocky but serious then I slammed the phone down. Thank God that shut her up.
You maybe wondering why I'm so rude to her but let's just say she is the reason for my unhappiness. You will find out more about this later on in the story. Right now let me tell you guys what or to be more specific who I'm thinking about and that's non other than Tiyanna.
Today is actually her twentieth birthday and I wonder what's she doing? Oh how I longed to just hold her in my arms and spoil her rotten. Words can't describe my undying love for her and how much I miss her. I can't help but wonder if she feels the same way about me still?
I wanted to contact her ever since that tragic day but I was forced not to.
I guess this is how our lives were meant to be.

LATER THAT DAY PRECISELY FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THE LAUNCHING OF THE NEW CLUB.

'You better be on your way here right now or I swear to Krishna( an Indian god) I'm going to kill you.' Vickash screamed through the phone at me. I was currently on my way to the club two minutes away to be exact but I just wanted to piss him off. I mean he did force me to go when I would rather be at home eating or sleeping.
'I'll be there. No need to worry mom.'
I said while hanging up the phone when he was about to give me some messed up comeback.
Let me give you guys a little update. I left the office at six and I stopped by at the local Starbucks to grab a coffee because we all know I need it if I wanted to survive this night which took half an hour. Then I went home and decided to take a shower and a nap just to get on Vick's case but I set an alarm to wake me up at seven thirty. I then got dressed into a pair of black fitted jeans and a navy blue shirt leaving the first two buttons undone for the ladies along with some navy blue shoes and my rolex because I was feeling rich tonight. This took me about five minutes then I left my pent house and took the elevator to the lobby where my driver was waiting for me.
'Mr. Singh, good evening. Where to?' David greeted me while opening the door.
'My brothers new club.' I said while taking a seat.
'Right away sir. We'll be there in twenty minutes sir.' David said while taking me to my destination.
'Excellent. Take your time David. We're in no hurry.' I said deviously because I did want to freak my brother out. I mean there was no harm in that.
Which leads us back to the future where I am now stepping out of the car and yes I am taking my utmost time doing so. I then nod at David and told him to pick me up at ten thirty sharp.
I was about to enter the club when stupid brother came storming towards me.
'What the hell took you so long? It's about to start. Let's go' he said while rushing back into the club.
'It's about to be a long night' I said to myself while following the idiot.
He took me to the VIP lounge which had a view of the entire of club while we chatted with some of our friends.
I was in the middle of a conversation or more like a nightmare with a hot but dumb blonde waitress when someone with big curls caught my eyes and only one name rushed through my head at that moment.
'Tiyanna' I said more like whispered but the blonde heard me.
'My name is Rachel you jackass' she said while storming away. I could care less about her because all I could think about was Tiyanna and how she looked absolutely breathtaking. OMG I missed her so much. She was with her friend. What's her name again? Oh Yea her friends name is Julissa. She was pretty crazy but they were a great duo. They were completely opposite in every aspect of life and I know for sure that she forced Tiyanna to wear that dress and I got to tell you this might be the first time that I appreciate something Julissa have done. But I was also pretty upset because it seems like I'm not the only guy that thinks Tiyanna looks beautiful tonight. No its not just me, it's every other male in the club. I had to change that thought and man up so that I can try and get back what I lost and so help me Krishna I will try until I die.
Julissa pulled Tiyanna over to the bar and I decided I don't have anymore time to wait so I left the VIP lounge to head over to the bar. Walking through the crowds, I was almost to her destination when I saw her trying to get out of the grip of some drunk idiot.
'Let me go!' She said while struggling but I didn't let her fight anymore because I pulled away the idiot and gave him a mean right hook that busted his nose.
'If you didn't hear her right, she said to let her go. So get out of my sight before I get you arrested because trust me that wouldn't be a problem.' I said angrily while walking over to Tiyanna but when I turned around to ask her if she was ok, she looked at me like she had seen a ghost.
'

Jash is that seriously you?' She said while taking in my face to make sure she wasn't hallucinating.
'It's me alright and happy birthday
You're finally out of the teenage life huh?' I stated trying not to make the air between us become awkward.
'Yea. Wait you remembered that today is my birthday?' She asked surprised.
'Yea I kinda never forgot' I said smiling at her which made her smile. Oh how much I missed her smile.
'Can I buy you a drink?' I asked while taking a seat at the bar.
'Nope water will be just fine. I have to make sure that lissa doesn't do anything stupid. You do remember lissa right?' She said while taking the seat next to me and while I ordered two water.
'How can I forget such a distinct human being?' I said blankly because I truly dislike lissa.
'I see you still have it out for her since that day huh?' She said while taking a sip of her water.
'I sure as he'll do.' I said matter of factly.
'So Ann, what have you been up to over the years?' I asked still trying to not make this conversation seem awkward.
'I'm in my last year of college. I got 2 more months until graduation and I'm a Marine Biologist at the aquatic life centre.' She said proudly.
'You got in? I remembered how much you wanted to work there. It was your dream. I guess it came true.' I said with pride because I was truly proud of her.
'Yea I did. It wasn't easy but it was truly worth it' she said proud while playing with the lime in her glass. She was about to say something when we heard loud cheering coming from the dance floor and guess who was the center of attention? You guessed it. It was Julissa trying to take her dress off when Tiyanna was about to go stop her from potentially ruining her life, I held her back by her wrist.
'Call me please Ann. I want to make things right.' I said while handing her my company card.
'We'll see but I got to go. It was nice seeing you Jash.' She said while pulling away her arm and heading over to lissa.
'It was nice seeing you too' I said to myself. Oh why does her best friend always have to ruin everything?
