Tiyanna's POV

What the hell happened last night? I can't believe I crossed paths with Jash and we talked like old times. I couldn't help but feel that undying connection with him and it just gets stronger every time I think about him.  He gave me his card so that we could stay in touch but should we really? I mean if his grandparents are still their wicked, self centered, racial self then I guess it would be just like old times, a disaster. But I don't really care and I generally don't know why I'm even bothering about this because I'm not going to pursue him.
I'm so not going to call him because we have bigger matters at hand. I'M GOING TO SEE HIM TODAY!! Can you believe that?
Let me get you guys out of the dark.
So the aquatic life centre is currently running low on funds in supporting the life of penguins in the centre due to a business that is taking away all the customers. This led the owner of the centre to reach out for sponsors to help raise funds so that we could keep the penguins and what a coincidence it is that the only company that agreed to help us was Singh's Enterprises.
Why is life so unfair? But I couldn't help but think that there was a reason for all of the 'coincidences' that happened in my life so far.
The day before my birthday, my manager told me to prepare a power point presentation representing the materials we need to support the penguins and how this can profit us and them in the long run. You may be wondering why I was chosen to do this, but it may have to do with me being the one who takes care of the penguins in question.
I'm starting to regret not choosing sharks.
Last night at the club, I wanted to tell Jash that I was going to see him tomorrow but I didn't get a chance to because I didn't want Julissa to ruin her life forever by striping on a table. That wasn't a good look for her on vogue magazine but it would make a great story. Anyway, back to the future. I am supposed to be at the main building for Singh's Enterprises at eight thirty sharp. It is currently seven fifty-five and I just got out of the shower and washing my hair. I started of by putting my dress on which was a body fitted navy blue fitted dress then I did my hair into a high updo with my curls framing my face then I applied some red lipstick and a touch of mascara. I rushed out of the bath room when I felt satisfied with my appearance, I grabbed my red stellettoes and my bag that had my flash drive with the PowerPoint aswell as other necessities that a girl needs and my car keys. If you guys are wondering how it's possible for me to wear such a bold, in your face outfit, you guessed it. Julissa was one hundred percent behind it.
I headed out my house with fifteen minutes left but I didn't forget to grab a bagel. The office was about 10 minutes away so u had five minutes to spear but I didn't let that get to me. I rushed to my car then took off to the office and let me tell you, the entire ride to Singh's, I only thought about one person and that was Jash.
Ten minutes later, I parked my car then headed out to the building. I stood in front of this man made piece of steel that went on for days in the sky. I couldn't help but think here goes nothing as I entered the building. I had to put all our past aside and just focus on getting the funds for the penguins.

Jash's POV

I really hope that she calls me because I really want to have her back in my life. Even if she doesn't, I'm going to fulfill the promise I made last night.
I am currently getting ready for the meeting with my dad today about some new investment but I have no idea what exactly it's about so I'm as clueless as you right now.
Today I chose to wear a fitted navy blue suit by Ralph Lauren( image of the suit on the cover). I decided to pair that with my black leather Gucci shoes. What? For some odd reason, my heart was telling me to put some effort into my outfit for today. I headed over to the mirror to check myself out and I felt pretty satisfied with my appearance sonic went downstairs to grab my coat so that I could leave for work. I saw that my cook left muffins out so I took one to go aswell as my hot coffee that was waiting for me.
'Sir your driver is here.' My house keeper said. If you were wondering yes I do have a house in long island and a penthouse in Manhattan so don't get confused.
'OK Grace.' I said while leaving the house to get into the car.
'Good morning Mr. Singh. Where to this morning?' David said while opening the door for me.
'The head office please.' I said while getting settled in my seat and doing some work on my phone.
'Right away sir.' David said while driving to my destination. On my way to the office, I couldn't help but think about Tiyanna but I was drawn out of my thoughts when David opened the door so that I can enter our building.
'We're here already?' I asked while getting out of the car.
'Yes sir.' David said while leaving to go do whatever it is that he does. I just nod and headed into the building. I got some stares from employees and other females while I was walking through the lobby but I didn't pay then any mind because u was determined to know what that deal was about. I couldn't help but have this unusual feeling about something good happening today. I made my way over to my private elevator and pressed the floor that the meeting was being held on.
I stepped out of the elevator and was greeted with my assistant Julien who gave me a brief rundown on what the meeting was about and who exactly was going to be there and what I had to do. We were speed walking to the conference room when I heard a very familiar voice and I couldn't believe my ears so I ignored it and just entered the room and took my seat at the right hand of my father.
'Morning father. What is this meeting about ?' I asked him while finishing up some paper work on my phone. It seems like you can do anything on these things.
'Morning son. The meeting is for funding a company that needs our help and also more publicity for the company. ' he said while looking around.
'Don't we have enough publicity? I mean everyone knows about us and the company is far from needing any support from the public.' I said kind of confused by his earlier statement.
'Oh son you have much more to learn and just think of it as me saying sorry for what happened years ago because this is not just a charity meeting, it's a way of fixing what my mother broke.' My dad said very sincerely and I couldn't help but feel confused at what he was saying. What's it with all the hidden language about fixing what his mother broke? Then it hit me and I felt like I saw a ghost when Tiyanna came walking into the conference room in his profession attire. My dad wanted us to be together. But why? Something is not right and I'm going to get to the bottom of this as soon as this meeting is over. Tiyanna took the seat opposite mine which was to the left of my father and apparently next to her manager.
' OK since everyone is here, let's get started shall we?'...
