Your POV-

For the past while, I've been living with Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn. They like having me here, or so they say, but I don't want to burden them too much, by taking up space. I should get a job, and move into my own place.

"Y/N~Senpai!" Kawaii~Chan skipped into the living room, where I was sitting, watching (F/S. Favorite Show.)

"Yes, Kawaii~Chan?" I pause my show.

"Aphmau~Senpai and I are opening up a maid cafe, and we need some people to work there!" She giggles.

"I'll do it! I needed a job anyway!" I smile.

"Great! You start tomorrow, and you have to be there for the grand opening, at 10:30!" She smiles back.

"Alright!" Today was Sunday, so I had to work tomorrow. What did I even just agree to?

Monday Morning-

A few of the guys walked into the cafe. Laurence, Garroth, Zane, Aaron and Gene walked over.

"Hey, girls!" Aaron smiled.

"Hey! Here are your uniforms, you can go put them on now. We need to open the cafe in an hour." Aphmau states.

"Alright," Laurence takes his uniform from Aphmau, going into the back room to change, followed by the rest of the guys.

Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan and I set all the tables nicely. When we were finished, all the guys came out of the change room, each wearing their own suits.

"Our turn," I giggle. Kawaii~Chan carries our uniforms into the change room for us.

Kawaii~Chan hands me my uniform, and hands Aphmau hers.

I take mine, and change into it. It was a short (F/C) dress, one Aphmau and Kawaii~Chan had made themselves, just for me. It came with a matching white and (F/C) headband, white fluffy cat socks, and black flats. The dress had a puffy skirt, white apron, and white lace details. It looked just like theirs, but (F/C).

"Y/N, you look so pretty!" Aphmau smiled.

"T-Thanks!" I giggle. "You too! And Kawaii~Chan, as well!"

"Thank you!" Kawaii~Chan smiles.

We step out of the room. The guys blush, walking over to us. "You three look beautiful," Garroth smiles.

"Thanks!" Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan and I all say in unison.

"They look great on you girls!" Laurence smiles too. I blush a little.

Laurence and I have known each other since middle school. We're pretty close friends. I had even developed a small crush on him in high school, but he was with Michi, and I knew I had no chance to get with him. I decided to just leave us be, as friends. Years later, we had found out we moved onto the same street, coincidentally, and my crush had come back again.

"Well, we have another ten minutes until we need to open up. What should we do for the time being?" Zane asks.

"Just do whatever you want! Besides burning the place down or something." Aphmau laughs.

"Sure, like any of us would burn the place down. I'll keep an eye out for Gene though. He might do something." Zane narrows his eye.

"Hey!" Gene crosses his arms. We all laugh.

"I'm just gonna go sit over here then," I say, walking off, and sitting down at a table for two.

Everyone else nods, and splits off into their own groups. I stare down at the table.

"Hey," I look up. Laurence sits down in the other chair at my table.

"Oh, hey, Laurence." I smile a little.
"How's it going?" He asks.

"Good, you?"

"I'll survive." He chuckles.

"Heh," I smile.

"So, that dress looks amazing on you." He winks.

I blush. "L-Laurence!"

I cross my arms.

"Haha, sorry! But I'm not just joking around. I mean it." He smiles sweetly.

"T-Thank you.." I smile back, still blushing a little.

"Y/N, listen. I-" Laurence began.

"Y/N~Senpai! Laurence~Kun! Come here! We need to open up the cafe!" Kawaii~Chan calls out.

"Coming, Kawaii~Chan!" I giggle, and stand up. Laurence stands up too.

Laurence's POV-

I stand up, grumbling. I needed to tell her, but I can't right now... I sigh. Maybe I can pull her away from working or something.

Y/N and I walk over to the rest of the group. I roll my eyes.

"Laurence?" Y/N moves closer to me. I blush a little.

"Y-Yes?" I stutter.

"Here," She giggles again. I always hear her cute laugh in my head.

She straightens my bowtie for me.

"Heh, thanks." I run my fingers through my hair.

Aphmau steps up to the podium on the front steps. "Good morning, everyone!" She smiles.

She goes on for another few minutes, until finally, "welcome, to the new Kawaii~Treat Maid~Sweet Café!"

Crowds pile into the cafe, some tripping over others as they scramble to get a table. We take everyone's orders, and Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan and Zane cook. I didn't know Zane could cook.

Y/N went to go take a table's order. There was only one guy there. I took the order of the table next to his, so I could listen in on what he was saying.

"Do you have a name? Or can I call you mine?~" He flirted.

I growled. "Sir, I-" Y/N began, but he cut her off.

"Can I have a menu?" He asks, Y/N handing him his menu. "I'll have a pretty girl like you with (H/L) (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes." He winked.

"E-Excuse me..?!" Y/N stuttered.

I turn around. "Sir, we have waitresses to take your order here. Not for you to flirt with. So, I would appreciate it if you would stop flirting with our staff." I tell him firmly.

"What do you care? Pretty girls like these are meant to be flirted with." He smirks.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." I cross my arms. He stands up, and grumbles, leaving the cafe.

"T-Thanks, L-Laurence..." Y/N blushes a little.

"Anytime, Y/N. Can I... Talk to you for a minute?" I ask.

"S-Sure!" I pull her away into the back room to talk.

"So... I'm sorry if this comes off as weird, but.." I began, shifting a little. "I just.. I was so angry when that guy flirted with you, I wanted to punch him in the face."

Y/N kept listening patiently. "It's not-"

"Nobody, I mean nobody flirts with my girl." I interupted.

Y/N's eyes widened, her face almost as red as a tomato. "L-Laurence..?"

"Y/N, I really like you.. A lot... That guy made me so jealous.. I couldn't take it anymore.. I understand if you-"

She giggles, leaning in and pressing her lips against mine.

I was shocked at first, but soon melting into the kiss and kissing her back. I put my hands on her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck.

It was magical.
