                                            Jack

The day was just like any other. I woke up, got dressed in my jeans and sweater, brushed my teeth, and combed my hair. I walked downstairs to get some breakfast before heading off to school. I had just put the bread in the toaster when I heard some rustling from upstairs, Emma must be awake. The bread popped out and I grabbed the warm, toasted slices and stuck one in my mouth. I exited the kitchen into the living room, grabbed my back pack and headed out the front door. I finished my toast as I walked the few blocks to the high school. The building was old and made of brick, not much to look at really. The campus was small, we had a field out back for the sports teams, though the teams weren't very good. I walked in the main doors and headed to my locker on the second floor. When I reached the top of the stairs I could see my locker, and all of my friends surrounding it. My best friend Hiccup had his nose in a book, like normal, and his shaggy brown hair tousled. Punzie had probably tried to fix it again, but to no avail. As I approached I could hear her talking to Mer about what a mess Hiccup's hair is. Rapunzel had waist length golden blonde hair, how she kept it so nice was beyond me. Her green eyes lit up when she saw me.

"Jack!"

Merida turned to me and waved. Her eyes were a light sky blue and she had red curly hair, which was as much, if not more, of a mess as Hiccups. I got to my locker and entered the combination, sticking my backpack in and grabbing my camera. I loved to take pictures of anything really. And my first period was photography, my favorite. I shut my locker door and turned to my group of friends. Rapunzel pulled me into a hug.

"How was your weekend?" Punzie asked, releasing her iron grip. She was small and dainty, but she had a vise like grip and could and would kick your butt if you crossed her.

"It was good. I got lots of good pictures at the park." I smiled. The park was one of my favorite places to go. The scenery was beautiful. There were lots of tall trees of different kinds, the grass was always soft and dark green, the river and the ducks were always fun to take pictures of, and there were lots of kids running around having fun. "There are ducklings now, so I got quite a few pictures of them."

"Awe! I'll have to come see them!" Rapunzel cooed. She was a softie and loved anything cute, tiny and fluffy. "Mer, you'll come too right?"

Merida laughed which made her curls bounce. "Why not. It would be nice to get out of the house and away from my mum." Mer was from Scotland, and her accent was always fun to listen too.

"We could all go!" Rapunzel said excitedly. "It's been a while since we were all together outside of school."

"It's been a week at most." I said chuckling.

Rapunzel waved me off. "Doesn't matter," She said, "We could all use a chance to get out of our houses. Will you come Hiccup?"

The blonde stared at him, waiting for an answer. Hiccup had no idea she was even speaking though. I reached over and snatched the book from his hands and he blinked a few times, coming back to reality.

"What's going on?" He asked.

We all laughed at him. He shook his head and evaluated all of us, clearly very confused.

"Rapunzel wants us to all go to the park together." I said. He nodded his head finally understanding.

"Alright. When?" he asked.

"We could go this weekend." She suggested. We all nodded and agreed to meet at the park at noon on Saturday.

The bell rang and we all headed off to our classes. Photography was fun, as always. I walked around the school and got some pictures of the classes going on, and a few of the football team practicing on the field. The rest of the day went by like normal. I went to English, then lunch with the group, and then Science and Math.
