It was shyly past midnight and the sky was a special shade of black. It made all the shining starts shine extra bright.

"I'm bored!!" Ranell wined. I rolled my eyes because she has been complaining for over an hour now.

"I told you to bring something to do because I know that you're always bored. What do you want me to do? Take you out to the mall that is closed in fact?" I offer sarcastically

"No." She mumbled under her breath. "We used to be adventurous and fun! Now you're boring as hell!" she accused me.

"Well my bad if my definition of 'fun' is different now!" I shout at her.

"Wait!" She shouts as she comes off my bed with a look on her face like she has a bad idea. This can't be good. "When is your curfew?"

"Um two o'clock, Why?" I'm kinda scared because all her plans are nothing but trouble. "Let's go spy on the new guy! "

"WHAT?!?! Are you out of your fucking mind!?....... Don't answer that. What if we get caught?"

"Don't worry." she says flapping her hand at me. "We won't get caught. And if we do then we'll just say we lost our dog."

"Really?! They won't buy it. Plus! Why him? It's not like he's that interesting. "

"C'mon Mandy!" she always had a habit of calling me Mandy, I didn't really like that name but I didn't mind. "It'll be fun! Plus! I saw the way he was looking at you. I'm not buying the whole ' I forgot how to get home' story. If he really couldn't get home then all he had to do was call his parents to come pick him up."

Ranell had a point there. Well I guess it would be fun and it wouldn't hurt to find out what he's really up to on a Wednesday night like this. "Wait. He left me his number, Why don't we call him and ask to hang out?"

"Really, babe?" She narrowed her eyes at me. "That isn't fun at all! I really want to feel like a secret agent. He'll probably say 'no' to the offer anyways because it's late."

"Well.... What if he's sleeping and then there isn't anything to spy on?"

"Then we come home. You really have nothing to lose."

"If that's the case why don't we just take a late night walk? Can we at least call him first?"

"No!! There will be no calling, You in or not?" I don't know, I'm not too sure about it. What if he really does catch us and then we make a bad impression? The different out comes run through my mind but I don't know if it's really worth it.

"Fine!" I'm totally going to regret this sometime. "Only if we get caught then you take full responsibility."

"Yay! Don't worry that won't happen but sure I promise."
