My little diary

Finally home

     I finally came home from a semi vacation. It was fun and full of thrills! My mother decided to surprise me and my little brother with tickets to Adventureland that my aunt got for us! She honestly couldn't keep it away from me so we decided to surprise my brother. For the longest time, he couldn't figure out where we where at til we pointed at the sign that said "Adventureland Theme Park". Well I've never seen a kid so happy in his life.

     We gave the tickets to the employees and went inside. My brother was so thrilled that I could see his little eyeballs pop from his head! He's never been to a theme park before and boy has he ever had fun.

     My best friend/sister wanted to go on the Space Shot and asked if I would go with her. I said no because after riding the Storm Chaser, I became afraid of heights. So she got my aunt and mum on the ride. The Space Shot shots people into the air and comes back down. I could tell that my mum wasn't having fun, lol. When they were launched into the air, I could see my mums face go pale. Coming back down multiple times, the ride came to a stop and my mum decided to not do that again.

     My sister and I wanted to ride some rollercosters, but the one she wanted to go on was the one I cant handle, and its called the Monster. It was the newest rollercoaster in the park and it was a horrifying drop. She really wanted to go but she didnt want to go alone, so she got my aunt to go with her.

     The line was super long and we waited about 20 minutes in the hot sun for them to get on. I recorded the while thing and even heard my aunt swear a lot. This ride is full of twists and turns, and its just terrible. That high drop, the turns, I couldn't do it, but they had the guts to ride.

     They finally got off but didnt know I recorded the whole thing. I posted it on social media and tagged them both in it. We walked over to look at the picture and it was priceless. My sister looking horrified and my aunt screaming. Of course we had to buy the picture cuz it was soooooo worth it.

     We walked around to see what rides we wanted to get on next. The Tornado was closed, which wasn't a shocker, since its the oldest rollercoaster there. The games were super pricey and we were thirsty. We headed towards the slushie stand and got all of us a slushie. We walked over across the bridge and my aunt asked if anyone wanted to ride the dragon yet. We said no, so we headed to the Gulch area of the park. The Gulch is the western theme part of the park with one of my favorite rides, The Outlaw.

     My mum, brother, sister, other brother, and aunt wanted to ride The Saw Mill Splash, while my uncle and I waited at the picnic tables under shade. I put on Snapchat that I was at Adventureland with my sister and one of my Senior friends said she was there too. I asked her to head over to The Outlaw and wait for me there. About 5 minutes later she showed up and sat with me while I waited on my family to come back.

     So my friend and I sat the chatting for about another 5 minutes and then my family showed up. I introduced her to my family and we went on The Outlaw. My brother chickened out on it so it was just me, my mum, my sister, and my beat friend. The line was log but wasn't too long. We waited for only 2 minutes before getting on.

     We finally got to the little gate and my sister sat by me while my friend and mum sat in front of us. We pulled the lap bars down and was getting ready to roll, but the my sister said that if it was gonna go fast, that she was gonna punch me. We started rolling down the track and I said "Too late" and we were gone. We went up the hill and was getting ready to go down it. My sister looked horrified again but I looked at her and told her that if she could handle The Monster, the she could handle this. It was just funny watching her reaction to it.

     We finally got off and headed back over the bridge. We turned Right this time and headed over tk the Raging River. My mum didnt wanna go so it was just me, my brothers, and sister. So we went up and got in line. I looked up ahead and so that the line was huge! But we decided to wait.

     About 30 minutes later we only made it half way through the line. My mum finally walked over to see if we were still in line, and we were. She told us that she would be over by the tree and had us give her our phones and purses. We sat in line for another 10 minutes and my actual brother began to go limp. In my family, we have a heat stroke and dehydration problem, so I told my uncle we needed water. He walked up and my mum came running up. I said we needed water for bubba, but she took him out of line and went to cool him off. We felt bad cuz her really wanted to go on the Raging River.

     About another 20 minutes and we were finally up next. We had a group of 4 but since my brother got dehydrated, we only had 3 left. One of the employees asked if there was another group of 3 or 2, and this couple came up with us. So we all got in the boat and strapped in, and we made friends with the couple who decided to join us. We all laughed on the ride and got super soaked, even tho we waited forever to ride, it only lasted 2 minutes. Yes I was pissed but then again, it was worth it.

     We got off and my aunt decided to let my sister and I run of and do whatever for and hour. We each got handed $10 and we left. We played so games and got food, bit I wanted to ride The Outlaw again, but my sis didnt want to. So I went by myself. It felt very awkward sitting alone but it was fun. So I went another round on The Outlaw and had a blast. I got off and went to my sis and asked if she wanted to ride The Dragon with me. Of course she didnt want to so I went alone, again.

     I walked in line and I was very nervous again. I've only ridden The Dragon a few times but thats it. Once I got to the gate, my heart instantly stopped. I forgot how it felt to be nervous til that moment. Then the train car pulled up and everyone got out while the new passengers got in. I sat alone again and we took off. I sat there and forgot how jerky it was. We went over hills and around the corner quickly til we reached the hill. Now for as high as the hill looked, I remembered that it wasn't that bad.

     The hill was tall but it was a good time to relax before reaching the top. Once you get to the top, there is a short straight track before going down. Yes my stomach dropped but we reached the bottom and went on the first loop. Once I reached the upside down part, my legs went instantly numb, the we reached the seconded loop. I forgot how fun The Dragon was besides loosing feeling in your legs part. We come up to a sharp corner at a fast speed and jerked to the right, the we jerked to the left. It really hurts when you dont pay attention.

     The ride was finally over and I got off to meet my sister outside the exit. We only had 5 minutes to get back before we got into trouble. My mum called asking where we were at and I told here we're coming and just to give us a second. We met up with them and headed to the gift shops. There wasn't really anything exciting in there so I let them do whatever.

     Once they were ready, we left the park. I said my goodbyes and thank yous and got into the car. It was a wonderful day that I've ever had. And I can't wait to go back.
