Omg! I finally got to see my best friend in a while! Me and her are the closest friends ever, because of preschool. Back in preelschool, we we're the bestest friends and nothing could separate us. We went through elementary school together and even middle school. Ever day I'd go to her house to hang out with her while I waited for my mum to come get me. Nothing ever separated us. Besides one year.
One day I got some news from my mum that I was transferring school, since I'm open-enrolled. I didnt know how to tell my friends that I was moving to the next school 24 miles away. That last week of school I had to tell them. The whole week we cherished every moment together. We took selfies, went out to eat, stayed at each others houses, and even ran around town for hours.
The last day of school finally came, but I wasn't ready to leave yet. We have a usual routine that we do after school and that was walk to Kone Corner and get some ice cream and then head to Auld Park. We hung out all day and also celebrated my birthday since it was the next day. So they gave me birthday presents and bought me lots of things, and I felt a little happiness. The time came where my mum came and got me to go home.
I knew I would still be able to see them since I live in between towns. I ended up going to my other best friends house for her birthday in July. We had a blast and I was happy that I got to stay with Her, but I knew the night wouldn't last and I had to leave the next night.
Mum moved to Marshalltown and said that we were gonna go there instead. I didnt wanna move because I loved the country and I didnt wanna move to the city. I went and stayed with her a lot but eventually got homesick and went back to my grandparents. Months later nun eventually lost the house and we ended up going back to Chariton where we were gonna go in the first place.
A few years passed and I was in Chariton still. The school district itself was better than the old school I went. I made more great friends and even hung out with them a lot. But I got texts with my friends in Knoxville, and some of them wanted to hand out that weekend. So I went to Adventureland with one friend and I had some others stay. But then my best friend texted me. She wanted to know if she could stay the night that night and I was beyond Happy.
We ended up getting her and I started to cry. I missed my best friend tons! We've been friends for nine to ten years now, and I'm just so grateful that I got to hug her again. I will never lose her ever again, cuz two years is way to long!
