They are on their fifth drink when Richard confides that he once dreamed of being part of a rock band as the bassist. It's his frustration that he was not able to continue his music when his dad died. No regrets, but still he wonders.

On their fifth drink, Maine confesses that she cannot sing for her life and that she is off key by several notes. One time, when her classmates wanted to have a reunion in a karaoke bar, she took voice lessons fast. Her teacher gave her only one song. That's why every karaoke session, she just belts out "Kapag Tumibok ang Puso" by Donna Cruz.

On their 6th drink, Richard says that he took boxing lessons but that when it came to sparring, he kicked his partner in the gut. It was not intentional because it was so natural for him. He had his sparring partner checked in the hospital. When he went back to the gym, he found out that he had been transferred to Muay Thai.

On their 6th drink, Maine confesses that she has a pseudonym. Secretly she makes additional money from painting. However, she feels she needs to practice some more before fessing up that she can paint. What is shameful about this is something Richard could not really understand, but she feels this shame, so it makes the shame valid.

On their 7th drink, Richard holds Maine's hand and kisses it. He is happy she does not take her hand back. They entwine their fingers.

On their 7th drink, Maine forks some of the last bacon-wrapped asparagus and feeds them to Richard, who consumes them with gusto. She continues and thinks that she can do this again sometime.

After their 8th drink, they walk out of the bar and see the sun rising outside. There is a park nearby and they decide to sit on the benches.

After they sit on the benches, Richard decides to lay his head on Maine's lap. He thinks that she is beautiful no matter what angle.

After he lays his head on Maine's lap, Maine traces his lips with her thumb and thinks "I could learn to love this man."
