The first term in the semester was over, which meant partial exams, projects, all nighters, stress and lack of sleep.
But what the fuck! I am a victim of the fucking system and you can't blame me for it! However I was trying to stay positive, but honestly, I'd be satisfied if I made it through the week alive.
By Wednesday I just wanted life to be over, almost. On Thursday I had an English test with the young attractive teacher, Mr Leo, Josh Leo -yes, you must say it as James bond- and I am stressed out because I have been paying minus ten attention in class and obviously had no idea what it would be about. On Friday I could finally breathe after finding out I had not failed any class -yet- and decided it would be a great thing to celebrate a tad.
Finally, Friday night, made it out of work on time and headed straight to the bowling place we liked most, we ordered burgers, chips, and beers.
My friends my brother and I were having a great time until Mitchel pointed out someone we hadn't noticed.
"There's Josh"
He said and my head turned. I looked back at Mitchel and took a sip of my beer.
"I'm blind. but I'm pretty sure you are right"
I said as I took my ball and walked to the aisle. Just when I was about to throw the ball, I heard him calling out for him. I threw and missed, not because of the distraction, but because I sucked at bowling.
Was my heart racing just by the mention of Josh's name, you ask? yes, but not as much as it did at the beginning. I was getting good at this 'seeing your crush everyday' thing.
"Sky, why do you keep coming with us? you suck dick at this!"
Said Gus, my very big, tall and ill mouthed friend.
"You suck dick at life and I'm not asking you to kill yourself, so kindly shut up"
"With that mouth, you kiss your mother?"
Asked Josh behind me. I turned and gave him a flirty look.
"Amongst other things, yes"
He immediately got serious and turned to talk to Gus about some other random thing I couldn't care enough about. I had another shot, which I knew I would fail too and so I went and just threw the ball, not looking or caring how it turned out.
"You're up Gus"
I said tapping his back to get his attention. I turned to Josh as if I was going to say something. then frowned and went to my brother.
"You want him thinking you hate him or something?"
"I want him thinking about me. Don't really care if its good or not"
"Well, he definitely is thinking about you"
I just smiled at him and raised one shoulder. he knew I liked Josh. there was hardly anything I could keep from him. He even knew when I lost my virginity and to whom.
Twin brothers knew each other like that... for better or for worse. Or at least we did.
"Well. I think I'll go back to my friends. it was nice seeing you guys here"
Josh said behind us. I smiled politely at him and kissed him goodbye after saying it was a shame he had to go.
"Perhaps we could hang out when you guys graduate, so far is kinda forbidden"
"It would be a shame if someone saw us hanging out right now, wouldn't it?"
I asked innocently, and he raised his brows at me.
