Part 1

You chewed your pencil nervously as your eyes quickly scanned your marked down answers of your Advanced Chemistry Winter Final Exam. With 20 minutes left of the allotted 2 hour period, you weren't quite sure if finishing early was a good thing or a bad thing. The chair behind you screeches and you look up, watching Robbie turn in his exam to the teacher, and glance over his shoulder, winking at you. You roll your eyes and playfully stick out your tongue. You hear him chuckle as he leaves the room and you return your eyes to the exam. 'Focus, Y/N', you say to yourself.

You breathe a sigh of relief as you exit the exam room; Chemistry had by far been your hardest class this semester and you couldn't be happier getting it over and done with. Just as you're swinging your backpack on, someone grabs you from behind, wrapping their arms across your chest and smacks their lips loudly on your cheek. "You're finally done! What took you so long?" Robbie teases, adjusting himself beside you, leaving his arm slinged over your shoulders, walking down the hall with you to your locker. "What took so long? Are you kidding? That exam was hard. The more I thought about my answers, the more I second guessed myself and then I got all confused... I don't know how I did." I complain, rubbing my eyes. I was so exhausted from all the studying, I just wanted to go home and finally get some sleep.

"Pffft, you know you aced it, you had yours truly as a tutor." I lift my head up to look at Robbie, his cocky grin plastered on his face, his eyes looking into mine and I feel myself relaxing. He had this crazy calming affect on you that you couldn't explain. My heart melts a bit as he rubs his hand reassuringly on your arm. Deep down I know he's right. He had spent the last two weeks reviewing the class material with me, quizzing me until the late hours of the night. He had been so patient and sweet with me, sacrificing countless holiday parties with the rest of our friends the last few weeks just so I could keep my grades up in that class.

"Wow, full of yourself much?" I smile and reach my neck up to peck his cheek just as someone slams their bag against my arm. I lose my balance and gasp slightly as my lips miss Robbie's cheek and land on his lips instead. Robbie's eyes widen in surprise but he doesn't pull back. I feel an unexpected bolt of electricity strike through my body and shiver as I feel his soft, full lips on mine... I start to pull away, but not before I feel the tip of his tongue try to slip into my mouth. Mortified, I spin around on my heels "Parker!" I yell down the hall, "Watch that bag of yours!" I throw my hands up in frustration. Parker, a senior and fellow classmate turns to me and simply shrugs. "My bad, sorry Y/N!" and continues down the hall.

"Shit Robbie, I'm sorry. I was just, like, I wasn't trying to..." I feel myself turning all shades of red. Tongue tied, I try to open my locker. Crap, what's my locker combination? "I'm so embarrassed, Parker bumped me and.. and" I try desperately to open my locker and avoid Robbie's face. He reaches out his big hands and places them on top of my trembling ones and opens my lock for me. I suck in my breath and look up at him, wincing.

His face is inches from mine, his lips curled up in a crocked smile. He brings his fingers to my face and tucks a strand of my unruly wavy hair behind my ear. I involuntarily shiver again in response at his touch. "...and I didn't mean to kiss you like that." I finish saying, looking at him. Did his face just drop? "Yeah, of course. I knew that, silly girl" he laughs quickly, his adam apple moving down his throat as he swallows hard. I laugh nervously and grab my jacket from my locker, closing it behind me.

"So, you're you coming out for pizza tonight with the rest of the peeps, right?" I ask, trying to break the odd tension lingering between you and Robbie as you walk to the parking lot. "Actuallly, I can't. I kinda have something else going on..." he responds vaguely. "Really? What are you up to?" I ask. "I'm meeting up with Alana for dinner." He stops as he reaches his car.
