Chapter 34

  "Go, Siobhan!"

She ran up to the front of the Q-bird right as a small ladder came down from it. She quickly climbed up as the First Son opened the hatch and she pulled herself in.

"We'll talk later." He said. Agent Winter headed out the flight deck and walked into the busy, cabin now filled with civilians panicking to get to a seat or just crying out. The chime then sounded in the cabin.

"Please make sure your seat belt is securely fastened."

"Stay calm please."

Agent Winter ran cross to an empty seat on the right forward side of the cabin.

"What's your destination?" She asked a passing kid operative, running by into the galley.

"I don't know. The First Son said we were heading here but- I don't know." She rushed out, closing a compartment and strapping into a jump seat.

"Well, that's a five-hour difference, Siri," Garik said, looking at the small holo map displaying in front of him. Hearing a noise he raised his eyebrows, turned to the right and saw out the window millions of infected hordes running toward the runways.

Agent Winters eyes widened as she looked out the window to her right.

"What are we waiting for?!"

"Let's go!"

"-please!"

"Take-off!"

The First Son grunted at holo screen showing the crying civilians.

Maybe I'll just sit here then. He rolled his eyes, gripping the throttle.

Agent Winter was thru back into her seat like the other passengers as the Q-bird accelerated down the runway. Being cool as a cucumber the First Son slowly pulled the yoke back with one hand, easing the ship up and into a climb for the skies.

The First Son tapped onto the touch screen and the landing gear went up as the Q-bird turned to the left in its climb. The First Son looked out the window to see the Infected swarm the whole airport, bringing down the Flight ATC tower.
