"Rose hurry up what's taking you so long?" I ask as I wait out her door, honestly this girl is going to make me miss my starter pokemon for a 4th time, "well sorry it's not my fault Spiritomb won't get into his pokéball" Rose answers me as she heads for route 201.
"are you sure Spiritomb will listen to you? I mean you don't even have your own pokemon........what makes you so sure you can command one of your moms pokemon?" I ask Rose worriedly incase something happens as we head to Professor Rowan's lab "Spiritomb has been with me since the day or my birth how could it not listen to me?" She asks "whatever you say,I just don't want to run into wild pokemon and then have Spiritomb completely ignore us while we get attacked by them" I state "honestly your such a baby sometimes Sam I don't see how your going to become champion if you can't even get to the town that's going to get your journey started" Rose counters "wow were already in Sandgem town.....that was quick" Rose stats as she sees professor Rowan's lab up ahead.
"Professor Rowan we're here" I yell once we head inside "oh finally you two arrive, I was worried you wouldn't show up" professor Rowan smiles at us "um....is Zack here ye-" Rose starts "I've already chosen my pokemon and received my pokedex" Zack answers.
"If you two will come over here then I'll let you choose your pokemon as well" professor Rowan leads us into a room "now because Zack has already chosen Piplup I'll let you both decide who will get who" professor Rowan says as he sends out two pokemon "the little shy one is Turtwig and the happy one over there is Chimchar" the professor smiles at us. Me and Rose both stare at each other not knowing what to say "um.......I'll choose Turtwig" I say nervously I look down to see little Turtwig surprised at my words, I guess people don't really appreciate it "twig" it said happily as professor Rowan returns it into its pokeball and handing it to me "take good care of him" professor Rowan tells me. "So I guess that leaves me with chimch-" Rose got cut off as Chimchar used ember on her "it's showing it's appreciation towards you" professor Rowan stats as he returns Chimchar into his pokeball and handing it to Rose.
"Now follow me back to the main room to receive your pokedex" professor Rowan tells us as he exits the room with the pokemon "now I've already explained all of this to Zack so don't worry, so as you may know the pokedex is a high tech device with information about the different pokemon, to receive information about a pokemon just turn on the pokedex and hold it in front of the pokemon you want the information on" professor Rowan explains handing us the pokedex.
"Well thank you so much professor for everything we will return after we compete in the pokemon league" I say as we head back to TwinLeaf town that way Rose can drop off her mom's Spiritomb. "Mom I'm back!" Rose yells once we're back at TwinLeaf town "so which pokemon did you choose sweetie?" Rose's mom asks "here let us show you" Rose answers "char!" Rose's Chimchar yells happily as he jumps into Rose's mom's arms, "piplup" Zack's Piplup cheers proudly, "twig" Turtwig says shyly as it jumps into my arms trembling "don't worry little one I won't hurt you" Rose's mom assures Turtwig "twig" he smiles back still in my arms.
"Now sweetie what did you come back?" Rose's mom asks her "what do you mean, I came back to return Spiritomb to you!" Rose answers "what?.........oh I forgot to tell you I'm giving her to you as a going away present" her mom tells her "really?! Are you sure? Spiritomb has been with you ever since you started your journey" Rose states worriedly "please she's been with me on my journey but my journeys over I want her to help you on yours, now off you go with your friends I want you back here after you've collected all eight badges and have become champion" her mom tells her excitedly as she rushes us out of her house.
"Well where do we head to now?" Zack asks "let's go to Jubilife city that way we can go to Oreburgh city to face off the gym leader" I answer and at that we head to Jubilife city.
