"We finally made it to Oreburgh city.....all though it smells like somethings burning here" Zack stats "pip" Piplup says as he starts shaking his head at the smell.
"Sometimes I question if your just acting stupid or if your naturally stupid, Oreburgh city is the city of mining and the main mining product is coal which helps create fire" Rose tells Zack as if he were a little child.
"Don't start here, I swear if you two continue arguing in the next ten minutes I will kill both of you" I order and in response they both silence themselves, "let me go to the pokemon centre because SOMEONE decided to try to cook my pokemon and then didn't let me heal him" I say staring at Rose in anger as I walk into the pokemon centre.
"Hello is there anything I can help you with?" Nurse Joy asks me behind her desk.
"um can you heal my Turtwig here?" I ask her unsurely.
"Yes of course, but why is that pokemon egg not in a capsule?" She asks me as she takes my pokeball and puts it onto a table with six slots in it.
"What do you mean? Aren't I supposed to just hold it like this" I ask worriedly, what if the pokemon doesn't come out now that I did something wrong.
"People are now recommended to have their pokemon eggs in capsules that way nothing happens to it, would you like me to put it in one?" She asks kindly noticing the worry I'm not even bothering trying to hide.
"Please do" I answer as I hand her the egg and take back my pokeball. I'm so in-experienced I look like a joke.
"Here you go, now I think that covers everything thank you for visiting come back anytime your pokemon get injured" she tells me with a smile on her face.
"What's that did you go super daddy mode or something?" Zack asks me when he sees the egg.
"At least he can take responsibility unlike you" Rose barks out "and besides my mom told me tha-" she gets cut off.
"We get it your mom was a extreme ace trainer and because of that you know everything in pokemon training, geez" Zack snarls at her. "A lot of talk coming from you why don't you go challenge the gym leader if your SO experienced" Zack continues.
"........THATS RICH COMING FROM YOU, YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT.....AND YOU KNOW WHAT I WILL GO AND CHALLENGE THE GYM AND GET THAT DAMN BADGE!" Rose yells at Zack as she stomps to the gym angrily.
"Let's go, we're gonna have to battle the gym leader eventually right? We might as well just go and watch and then figure out who's gonna battle next" I say somewhat calmly. We walk inside the gym, I see a battlefield covered with giant rocks as obstacles and in the sidelines some benches for you to view the battle, I see Rose talking to a man with redish hair and a mining suit on who i assume is the gym leader.
"Hi my name is Roark nice to meet you" he says as he walks up to me and Zack.
"My names Zack and the father here holding his baby is Sam" Zack says as he flips his yellow hair out of his face.
"Don't start with me I will hurt you" I snap annoyed.
"Can we a gym battle now Roark I'm growing impatient" Rose says as she starts jumping around excitedly.
Rose's POV
"The battle between Roark, the Oreburgh gym leader and Rose, the challenger will now begin. Three pokemon are allowed from each side with the challenger being the only one allowed to do substitutions" the judge tells us as if he's said this millions of times.
"Okay I hope this works, COME OUT SPIRITOMB" I yell as I send out Spiritomb "Tomb" Spiritomb says happily as she realizes she's back battling in a gym battle.
