Dalton rode around with me for a while before finally stopping on the top of a cliff. He put the kickstand down, for off and held his hand out,

"M'Lady" he says in a cheesy accent, I giggled before I grabbed his hand and he helped me off the bike. I looked around and the view was absolutely amazing.  The way the town looks below us and the colors of the late Spring with the smells and sounds was breathtaking.

"Holy shit Dalton, it's beautiful up here."  I complemented his decision to bring me up here.

"I know" he says smirking.

"Cocky much?"  I rose an eyebrow at him.

"Yup" he agreed.  He took my hand and led me to an opening where there was a blanket. Dalton pulled and cooler out and set it down.

"Since we skipped breakfast and it's almost lunch, I decided that we should have brunch." I sat down as he removed food from the cooler, they were all of my favorites.  We sat down and ate.

"You know Sutton, you look adorable when you eat." Dalton said as he bopped my nose.

"Oh do I?" I asked, bopping his nose back. We ended up in an all out bopping war as we kept going back and forth, which eventually lead to a play fight. Dalton got the upper hand and was now on top of me, smirking. He stared to lean down, closing his eyes, I closed my eyes as well, hoping for a kiss. His lips never ended up meeting mine but his tongue met my face.

"Ewwww! Dalton!"  I yelled in disgust.

"What?" he asked as if nothing was wrong.

"You licked my face!"

"I did?"  he asked innocently.

"Yes you idiot!" I said, laughing while wiping the spit off and onto his shirt. He rolled off and landed next to me and gave me a wet kiss on the cheek.

"Better?"

"You're a piece of work Rapattoni."

"I know I am." After that we just laid there for a bit.

"Okay, it's time to go Sutton."  he said suddenly.

"Okay" We both got up, packed everything, got back on the bike and sped off. We rode back to town and arrived at my favorite coffee shop, Gloria Jeans.

"Gloria Jeans! I love this place!"

"I know, why else would I take you here?" We walked in a went straight to the counter.

"One Cookies and Cream Chiller and one Red Velvet Chiller. Both smalls please." Dalton orders.

"Okay that'll be $10.14." I started to pull my wallet out but Dalton took it, put it in his pocket, pulls out his wallet and hands the money to the man.

"It's my treat." We get our drinks and sit outside.

"This is a nice day so far, it beats sitting in school." I said but Dalton isn't listening, he's staring at something in the distance. "Dalt? Dalton?"

"Yeah" he snaps out of his stare.

"You okay?"   Something was off.

"Yeah" Just as he says that a boy about my age approaches us.

"Rapattoni, cutting class I see."

"Go away Walst." Dalton says standing up.

"Oh I'm soo scared." the boy, Matt mocked.

Just as Matt said that Dalton pulls his fist back and punches Matt square in the nose. The two boys just kept fighting while I screamed Dalton's name and watched in fear. He finally looked up, his pupils were huge, and his eyes were filled with rage but they softened instantly. He looked down at the boy.

"Sutton, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to get this far let alone scare you." I just looked at him one last time, turn and ran. I ran towards the one person I could trust, Jess.
