Chapter Four- What Guild Am I From

A small girl danced around the garden, weaving in and out of the flower beds. “Mommy look” she squealed. “I am flying.” And indeed she was. Small pink translucent wings were sprouted from her back. She flew up and around the trees, her brown pigtails whipping around in the wind. The flowers sang happily as the little girl flew around her mother.

“That’s amazing sweetie” she smiled at her daughter. The little girl grinned. Then a blue and pink butterfly fluttered past her.

“Mommy look, at butterfly!” she exclaimed. “I’m going to go after it.”

“Sweetie don’t. Stay in the garden” the mother started but it was too late. The little girl sped over the fence and into the forest around the house.

The little girl followed the butterfly through the forest and into a marsh area. “Is this your home Butterfly?” the little girl asked as the butterfly set itself down on a flower. The butterfly responded with a tinkling noise before speeding away. “Butterfly where are you going?” the little girl cried out.

“Get away Princess, the monsters are coming” the butterfly told her.

“What monsters Butterfly? Which way is home?” the little girl asked the butterfly. But the butterfly was gone.

The little girl sat down on the edge of the marsh area. “I’m lost” she thought to herself.

Then in the middle of the marsh area a dark purple light appeared and a massive demon appeared. It was huge. The little girl screamed in terror and scrambled to get away from it. “Help” she cried, but no one heard. The demon picked the little girl up and was about to eat her when a small boy came up.

He yelled “Wand Magic: Demon Destroy” and a Magic Circle appeared above the Demon and it vanished.

The little girl fell to the ground on her back. “Owww” she whined, tugging at her pigtails. “Are you ok?” the little boy asked, coming up to her.

She looked up at him. The boy had dark, dark purple hair and dark eyes, but they seemed to light up when he smiled. She nodded in bewilderment.

Then he reached his hand out for her to take. She stared at it before smiling. “Thankyou” she exclaimed, taking the boys hand. He grinned. “What were you doing out here?” he asked.

“I was following the butterfly” the little girl said. “But then the butterfly left” she continued sadly.

The boy looked at her before calling out “Butterfly come back here.” Then the Blue and pink butterfly fluttered out from behind her ear. “Hello Butterfly” she laughed. “Hello Princess” the butterfly tinkled back.

The boy smiled at the girl. A nice smile. The kind of smile that no one can resist.

“My name is Kiyoshi. Kiyoshi Naoki.”

I roll sideways and open my eyes. I am in a room with single beds lined up all along the wall. Beside my bed sits a small desk with nothing but a lamp and an alarm clock. The time on the clock reads 9:45am. That means I’ve slept for the rest of the day and night.  I start to get up but my head aches. Ignoring it, I get out of bed and reach to my necklace, only to find it missing. I look around frantically for it. Where could it be? I kneel down on the floor and look under the bed. Nothing.

“Gramps has your necklace” a male’s voice says from the doorway. Out of fright I raise my head quickly only to have it whacked against the beds edge.
