Chapter Five- Testing My Magic

 Yay next chapter uploaded! And i know that the name of the Guild is pretty bad but just ignore that :) 

Chapter Five- Testing My Magic

I lay in bed looking up at the ceiling. Wand Faecaster. Those two words kept creeping back into my mind. I sigh and roll over so I’m looking out the window. The street lights are on and the water from the river glistens in the moon light. Wand Faecaster. Ever since the Master and Guildarts told me that story all I can think about it is those words. I know I’ve heard those words before. But I’m not sure where. I look up at the stars. “Please help me find out who I really am” I whisper to them, as if they can hear me. Maybe they can.  Or maybe up there is god, looking down on me. I don’t know.

The next day I wake up early because the master had told me that I was going to train. Using my powers I mean. I get dressed into my favourite black and pink skirt; which I brought at the markets, and my black t-shirt. I pull on my knee length boots and put my hair into ponytails. Satisfied with my appearance I grab my necklace and put it around my neck. Honestly I’ve been a little scared of what I might do with it. So I try not to wear it all the time.  As I walk down the pathway next to the massive river that runs through Magnolia, I bump into Lucy who was running out of her house.  “Sorry” I say as we fall onto the ground.

“It’s okay Lissy” Lucy says smiling. She gets up and brushes her blue and white skirt. “You have training today don’t you?” she asks as I get up. I nod and she continues. “With Erza, Natsu and Gray right?”

I stop nodding midsentence. Wait what? “You mean they are training me?” I ask confused.

Lucy nods. “I was in a rush because I though t I was going to be late to watch you train.”

I rub my hands nervously. I don’t really want people watching me train. And I don’t want to battle Erza. I’ve heard she is really powerful. “Come on Lissy” Lucy says grabbing me hand. “It’ll be fine!  Besides we better hurry up or Erza will get angry.”

We arrive at the training place (aka. The Magnolia Tree) and see that the others had already arrived. Erza is standing there with her arms folded and an annoyed look on her face. She walks up to us slowly, each step making me and Lucy flinch. “You’re late” she states, her voice flat.

“I’m sorry” I and Lucy squeak at the same time. She glares at us and turns to walk back to Gray and Natsu. I and Lucy look at each other, scared.

“Natsu. You first. Step forward” Erza commands. Natsu does as she says. “Now Lissy I want you to hit Natsu with the best shot you can give using your magic.

I bite my lip. I don’t really know how to work my magic. It only happened to me once. I don’t know if it will do it again. Slowly I step forward toward Natsu. I take the wand charm off my neck and it changes into its normal size. I close my eyes and breathe in. You can do this the little voice in my head whispers to me. I breathe out and shoot my magic power out of my wand. I open my eyes and see a line of pink dust floating through the air. I look over towards Natsu who is laughing and clutching his stomach. I look back sadly at the mist which has almost gone.

Erza walks up to Natsu and whacks him on the head. “Try again Lissy”

I nod and close my eyes. This time unsure. I made a fool out of myself. And I’ll probably do it again. Lissy you were born to achieve greatness a boy’s voice whispers in my head. Alex. Don’t think you can’t do this. I know you can. I believe in you. I – the voice is cut off. As that really Alex or just my imagination? But I soon forget about that. His words had already awoken me. If he said I could do this then I could. I breathe in and out. Pointing my wand in front of me I open my eyes and chant “Wand Magic: Summer Dragon!”
