*you and Courtney were walking to Petalburg City for your next gym match while also training a bit along the way since you both can agree that you will at least need some level thirties before the next gym o make it easier to win* Courtney "Y/N should we start training?" *you look at the sky and its about mid day* You "yea let's get started." *Courtney sends out her shiny Ninetails her Arcanine and her Camerupt as you send out your Charemelon, Kirlia, Kadabra, and Manectric* you "I'm sure that Kadabra and Manectric could handle your Camerupt while Kirlia and Charmelon will be able to take on Ninetails and Arcanine." *your pokemon get in line and Courtney agrees since her pokemon are higher leveled she is fine with one being double teamed she would rather you didn't face one for one but after an earlier example you made out of a level thirty five you wouldn't be effected by it no matter what happened as long as they aren't EV trained but you just wait for the go ahead* Courtney "Alright were ready let's get started." *you nod and then speak* you "Kirlia Psychic on Arcanine Charmelon hit nine tails with a dragon rage Manectric Ice fang on Camerupt Kadabra use Shadow Ball on Camerupt." *you said it so quickly Courtney had no option but to command hers before she gets hit* Courtney "Arcanine Extreme Speed on Charmelon, Camerupt Earth Power on Manectric, Ninetails use dark Pulse on Kirlia!" You "Kirlia use Teleport and Hit with Psychic Charmelon let it get close then hit it with a Dragon Pulse Manectric jump into the air and Kadabra send the Camerupt into the air with Psychic." *Before Courtney could say her orders to counter yours it was Too late the second Arcanine hit Charemelon he used Dragon pulse at point blank range sending Arcanine flying and Kirlia Avoided the attack from Ninetails with teleport and hit her Ninetails with a full powered Psychic proving to be ruthless that way sending the Ninetails into a tree while the Camerupt was sent into the sky to be met with a point blank Ice Fang from Manectric freezing it as Kadabra sends Camerupt straight into the ground at full force knocking it out quite effectively as well as Arcanine but Ninetails is still standing but is now facing four different pokemon on her own as Courtney starts getting nervous but gives out another Command* Courtney "Ninetails use Dark pulse against Kirlia and Kadabra!" you "Kadabra Energy ball block that dark pulse and Kirlia use Synchronize on the Ninetails Charmelon use Dragon Pulse, and Manectric use Discharge." *Courtney sees that she has lost as the four attack immediately and hit there targets knocking out Courtney's special Defense Wall since you know that is what she trained her in causing her to return her pokemon as Kirlia starts to glow as you go to her and Kirlia finishes evolving into a shiny Gardevoir and she tackles you Into a hug much to your surprise* Gardevoir "Gardevoir" You "well seems like that's enough training for today let's get your pokemon treated Courtney." *she nods as You return all of yours and pull your medical supplies out and berries just to feed her pokemon as you defrost Camerupt and start treating it's injuries and then put a bowl of assorted sweet berries in front of it as it begins to eat them happily then you tend to Arcanine's injuries and after you finish you put an assorted bowl of spicy berries in front of him as he starts eating them with great joy as you then move to Ninetails and begin to treat her injuries gently and then give her an assorted thing of Sour Berries and give it to her as she eats them Gleefully as Courtney goes over to her Ninetails and begins to groom her as you get your pokemon out and begin to tend to them give them berries and groom them gently finishing after Courtney finishes and then you return your pokemon and begin to walk to Petalburg City making good progress as you both keep walking as you are weighing on the idea of holding Courtney's hand but your nervous to as you keep walking she stays close to you as you both decided that you will both only use the bikes if you need to but you will enjoy he scenery as you gently take her hand in yours but keep walking with a slight blush now as Courtney starts blushing more but smiles with it and doesn't move her hand away as you both get to the city past the time the Gyms are open so you go to the pokemon center and get a room for you and Courtney and your all's pokemon and then you both get into the room as Courtney let's you take a shower first which you gladly take as you set your poke nav that Courtney convinced you to get to at Rustboro city after that you used to play music*
Courtney's POV
alright I have to choose carefully and I'll need to ask him out soon but how... *she starts scratching her head hurriedly as her pokemon look at her as Gardevoir pats her back* Gardevoir "Gardevoir" Courtney "it's harder to ask then I thought" *I was looking down as I heard his music start playing some song as I thought about it* maybe a song would be easier to do... but which song and when... *I start looking through songs to sing to confess to him while to ask him out which is still harder then I thought since Y/N is difficult to read while in a pokemon battle he's impossible to read and damn near unbeatable because of how quickly he adjust his strategy when fighting* but he is possible to beat if I play my cards right but I need to be able to first.... this is going to be very difficult... You "Courtney Showers open" Courtney "Okay thank you Y/N!" why is this so difficult?
A/N - and done I'll post in a bit the pokemon for you and Courtney in it's own part any way here is the options for the pokemon you'll get AFTER the gym battle it will be a water type only so you can actually use surf.
