Midnight and Phantom Meeting for the First Time

Mina's POV

I looked over at a sleeping Rex. I looked over at the door and it was unlocked I took this opportunity and I snuck out of the house. Once I was out on the patio I felt midnight rising up inside of me; she wanted out so she could feel the moon light on her fur, and skin and the turf under her paws. I shifted into her form and let her take over; she howled and we ran off of the patio into the forest. I have to admit, it felt good to do this for her; it helped me calm myself to where I wasn't freaking out that much.

I heard something and I guess midnight heard it too because she stopped. She looked around and there was nothing, then all of a sudden a howl erupted from nowhere. We sniffed the air and the familiar smell was in the air, but the person we had in mind was nowhere around. We ran in the direction of the pack house to see if it was him or not, but we were soon cut off of our mission when a silverish white figure ran in front of us. It growled once; it stopped in our path and midnight growled back.

the mind went up and his voice was filling it "where do you think you're going and who do you think you are?" he sounded pissed and the Alpha tone was in effect.

"I was just out for a run I'm sorry." I said looking the mysterious wolf in the eyes that is when I noticed something about it. His eyes were crimson red with ice blue mixed in and his height was 5'2 also looked to weigh 130 pounds. "Wait do I know you from somewhere?" I asked and my eyes grew wide then midnight came into the private mind link.

"Don't say anything more he could be a rogue for all we know."

"Will you stop with that shit Midnight?! I know him he isn't a rogue if I'm not mistaken he is Phantom." then Phantom chimed in and said this.

"Good for you, but you still haven't told me who you are." Phantom calmly said in the open mind link

"I'm Midnight as my human form just said in the damn mind link and I wasn't making a break for it; I was just out for a run." Midnight chimed back into the open mind link in a dueling tone.

"That was in the private mind link so I didn't hear it so. Oh, the hell you were. Also, nice to meet you too; I'm Phantom now get your ass in the pack house."

"fine but you are getting the silent treatment after this; I don't care if you are my mate."

"Fine, but you will talk sooner or later my mate." then we both were on our way back to the pack house. I ran for the bathroom and I lightly kicked the door behind me and I shifted into my form. I wrapped a towel around me and I looked out the door looking left and right then I booked it for the alpha's room, but to my surprise I found Phantom sitting there.

"H-hi may I help you?" I asked in a startled tone and he just sat there and looked at me. I went up to him and that is when it happened I heard bones cracking and shifting into their normal spots again. He shifted into his human form and there he was standing there. "It was you this whole time?!" I asked in shock and amazement.

Rex's POV

"It was you this whole time?!" she said in amazement and shock.

"Yes, it was he is my wolf form. Wait how do you know my wolf?" I asked in a confused tone.

"Because I had a nightmare, but he was in the dream so that was a good part." She explained.

"Okay so I guess that wolf, the one that was standing there in front of Phantom and I, was yours?"

"What makes you think that?"

"look at yourself you are wrapped in a towel in my room."

"Well I could have just gotten out of the shower jack ass."

"Just answer the damn question."

"Ugh fine! Yes she is my wolf and her name is Midnight as you heard me call her." After that I got my shorts on and I sat down on the edge of my bed. She sat next to me and looked at the ground blankly. I just gave her space and I went to do my Alpha duties.

Mina's POV

Once Rex left I sat on his bed thinking about what I have done. "Mina you are a dumb ass." I said loudly to myself and midnight chimed in.

"I agree with you. Sorry, but I do agree with you on this one now he knows."

"No shit Sherlock; what gives you that clue?"

"You don't have to be mean. I mean it is your fault for this one not mine."

"Yeah, yeah I know now I'm done here." Once I said that I ignored her and hugged my knees and I fell over on the bed. I swear I am stupid for doing that; sleep soon came over me and I was asleep before I knew it.
