III. THE GAME

THE GAME

        SURVIVOR WATTPAD is an independent and non-profitable contest created by the URSINE BLOODLINE.

        The contest aims to discover fresh and promising writers, develop and improve the writing skills of the contestants who should serve as role models for the readers of the said contest, and exhibit their talents in a competitive setting.

THE CASTAWAYS

        Thirty-two [32] Castaways (contestants) will be chosen from the entry-senders during the audition. The castaways will then be divided into four [4] TRIBES.

THE TRIBES

        The four [4] tribes will be composed of eight [8] contestants each. Each tribe will have a mentor, called the SURVIVAL EXPERT.

THE SURVIVAL EXPERTS

        The four [4] survival experts will serve as the leaders for each tribe. A survival expert’s job is to guide the tribe members and help them ‘survive’ up to the day of THE MERGE.

THE MERGE

        After the third CHALLENGE, the remaining members of all four tribes shall converge as one, in a single tribe that will be named according to the castaways’ choice. During the merge, all experts will lose power over their former tribe members. The castaways will then have a central mentor, called the TRIBAL CHIEF.

 

TRIBAL CHIEF

        The tribal chief, very much like the survival experts, shall guide and supervise the contestants until the only two contestants remain to fight for the ULTIMATE SURVIVOR TITLE.

THE ULTIMATE SURVIVOR

        The ultimate survivor title will be awarded to the last remaining castaway. To be an ultimate survivor, the thirty-two castaways must survive all five [5] CHALLENGES.

THE CHALLENGES

        Each challenge represents a round. During the first three [3] challenges, each castaway shall work as an individual and as a member of their tribe. During these challenges, the scores of each individual shall be totaled as the score of their tribe.

        After the merge, the castaways shall compete as individuals for the fourth and fifth challenges.

        The entries for each round shall be graded by the JURY.

THE JURY

        The jury is composed by a group of judges who will grade the entries of the castaways. The jury members have the power to eliminate contestants, except those who are under IMMUNITY.

 

THE IMMUNITY

        After each challenge during the survival rounds, immunity shall be awarded to the tribe with the highest total score. Each tribe that does NOT possess immunity shall vote out a member through a TRIBAL COUNCIL. After the tribal council, the jury shall eliminate the lowest scorer from each of the losing tribes – making a total of six [6] castaways: the number of castaways who will be eliminated after each challenge.

        During the fourth challenge, the top three [3] individual scorers will each get an immunity. The remaining members of the merged tribe will then be subject for elimination. Three [3] of which shall be voted out by their fellow castaways, and three [3] again shall be eliminated by the jury.

        The details for the final round, however, must remain a secret and can only be revealed after the fourth challenge.

THE TRIBAL COUNCIL

        After each challenge is the elimination, or the tribal council. After the merge, tribe members who were eliminated during the previous challenges can opt to become parts of the jury.

 

EXTRAS: Mini Games and Hidden Individual Immunities

        Before each challenge, the organizers will set a mini-game for all the castaways. These games will come in different types, and all are somewhat related to literature and writing. After each mini-game, the winner – whose name shall remain anonymous until the right time – will be secretly awarded with an individual immunity. During a tribal council, right after the voting phase, the castaway with the individual immunity may reveal it to protect himself or herself from getting voted out or eliminated. In the event that votes were cast against him/her, these votes shall be considered null and void. If the castaway who revealed an immunity is the lowest scorer and is due for elimination by the jury, he will not be eliminated. Instead, the lowest scorer next to him/her will be eliminated.
