i. THE TRIBAL CHIEF: StridentEsquire

1. Introduce yourself as a writer.

I am StridentEsquire. People can call me Ephraim if they want to because that's my name. First of all, it makes me glad that I am here, giving my words for this interview. I didn't even expect that I'll take part of this tourney. I am a male writer, trying his very best to astonish the crowd with his romance novels that are either too sappy or too cheesy, but it worked. The counterpart of romance is non-teen fiction, which is now general fiction. I use smuts, and I blatantly let the readers simmer the story that i've created down their systems. It's fun.

I wanted people to see me as a person who's trying so hard despite the fact that life sucks and schedule is slamming every supposed commitment with writing. I have this penchant for adult oriented stories that makes me eager for more. I want stories that make me realize that life is really worth it, after all the catastrophes and debacles that ruined our beliefs that it isn't. I was done the part where I would squirm, whenever teenagers will kiss and say their I love yous. I am now at the part where I'm exploring the depth of a human being's complexity, how to decode the cryptical phrases, and how to stoke their passion. And that's the reason why I'm trying so hard to write a story that can at least pique the minds of the readers.

2. What will they expect from you as a mentor?

The contenders will see me as a person who's trying his best to help, make each of them grow more in writing. I won't be selfish, for I will give them the knowledge that I have. If I knew something that can make them shine, then I'd tell them what they're gonna do and how they're gonna do it. Simple as that.

3. What is your message to our castaways?

To all the tribe members, remember that this is a contest. Remember that the each of you must pour out the best you can. Remember to never play it safe, because people want eccentricity and uniqueness.

ii. PLAGA SURVIVAL EXPERT: NikitaHawkeye

1. Introduce yourself as a writer.

Hello, I'm known as NikitaHawkeye on Wattpad (though I'm yet to publish any of my works there) and Red Nix on ff.net.

My writing style is not complex; I tend to stick to introspective and analogous one-shots. My strong point is writing pieces from the point of view of another fictional character, also known as fanfictions.

My favorite authors are John Le Carré, Qiu Xiaolong, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I'm obviously a sucker for spy thrillers and detective stories.

2. What will they expect from you as a mentor?

That I won't be criticising how you want your story to go, but how you write it.

Also, it's going to be a give and take process; you learn from me, and I learn from you.

3. Give a message to all of your tribe members.

iii. GUERRA SURVIVAL EXPERT: Superjelly

1. Intoduce yourself as a writer.

Superjelly as a writer is someone who does not really have a particular style and basically writes stuff that do not make sense. I'm into literary pieces that portray the tragic and dark side of reality but at the same time not going overboard. Also interested in magical realism. I always look for the art and "voice" in the stories that I read because I believe that an author's writing voice helps them to be able connect to the readers so the message of their stories are received. I'm a fan of Gabriel García Márquez, Lois Lowry, Neil Gaiman, and Nicholas Sparks because there's just something beautiful in their words that tug at my heartstrings.

2. What will they expect from you as a mentor?

I'm actually very lenient, I swear to the mother of all vegetables. Okay fine... I am a LITTLE BIT strict, but I'll make sure that I'm not going to be manipulative. I'm just there to guide them after all, and hopefully we can cooperate and learn from each other. 

3. What is your message to your tribe members? 

Don't be afraid to try something new. Go challenge yourselves. Enjoy but at the same time do not be too laid-back. Peace out. Rock on. \m/

iv. HAMBRE TRIBE MENTOR: TalkingPanda

1. Introduce yourself as a writer. 

+ I am a writer that does not stick to one style. Pero sabi nila poetic daw. I write gore, tragic love stories, drama, mystery, light and fluffy stories. But I usually write anything. Same goes with what I read. Kahit ano lang. I adore John Green, JK Rowling, Rainbow Rowell, Suzanne Collins, and other authors who can take me into another world - figuratively. But like I said, I usually read everything. 

2. What will they expect from you as a mentor?
+ Do not expect haha. 14 years old pa lang ako. But I'll try my best to help the people in my tribe improve. Di naman ako strict and di ako perfectionist sa technicalities. And sana we'll learn from each other

3. What is your message to your tribe members? 
+ hello! TalkingPanda here. Sana maging masaya tayong lahat! And sana siryosohin niyo ako as a mentor please. Haha. 'Yon lang! Fight!

v. MUERTE TRIBE SURVIVAL EXPERT: Billare

1. Introduce yourself as a writer. 

Eowszx powsx mga Bh3. I can’t claim that I’m a professional writer, but I am a professional singer. (LET IT GO! Chos lang po!) Akow powszx si Billare! Katulad ng iba ay dumaan din ako sa pagiging jeje writer, hindi yung j3j3 writer! Magkaiba yun. Jeje as in yung may “kyaaaaaaaaaaaah!” pa sa mga stories ko nun na minsan ay inaabot pa ng halos 50 redundant letters lalo na pag dating sa vowels. Halimbawa nalamang ay eto: “Voooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom Paneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!” Alam ko po masakit sa mata kung sakaling makikita mo ito sa isang storya, kaya minabuti kong baguhin ang aking writing style. Pero syempre dumaan din ako sa kung ano anong paghahasa bago ako makatungtong sa kinaroroonan ko ngayon. Nagumpisa rin ako sa isang contest na katulad nito, nag karoon rin ako ng mentor at mga kagrupo. Sakanila ako natuto at masaya akong nakilala ko sila. I may not be the best writer you know, but I’ll do my best and I will not rest. Siguro kung nadaanan o nabisita nyo na yung profile ko, magtataka kayo kasi wala naman akong works na naka post. Meron po akong mga works na naka post, wala lang dito sa account na ito (Hanapin nyo nalang yung ibang accounts ko) Chos. Well Hindi ako ganun ka flexible na writer, kasi may kahinaan din ako, at ito ay ang Horror genre. I’m a poet and hindi ako mukhang pwet.  Solomot po.

 2. What will they expect from you as a mentor? 

Next question plith. Ano bang aasahan nyo sakin bilang isang mentor? May tatlo akong pwedeng ibigay: First is ‘I am a wind chime’. Bakit wind chime? Sabi kasi ni Game Master nung una ko syang nakausap para daw akong wind chime or ang sarap ko daw gawing wind chime (Ang ingay ko kasi sakanya), kasi makulit ako. Ang  pag sinabing makulit, sama-sama na dyan lahat. Mahilig mag flood ng notifs, inbox, comment box etc., Maingay, Malikot, isip bata AT IBA PA! At sana maging makulit din kayo para masaya tayo! Yehet~ Ohorat! Second is madaming pakulo, kaya abangan nyo yan. Charaught. The last but not the least, ay gagawin ko ang lahat ng makakaya ko para ma-lead kayong mga survivors under my tribe hanggan sa mabitawan ko na kayo at nasa kamay na kayong lahat ni Tribal Chief. ‘Yon ay sa takdang panahon, pero gagawin ko ang best ko na tulungan kayo na magimprove, hanggan sa time na hindi na ako ang tatanawin nyong mentor as this contest ends. Goal ko rin na matulungan kayong magimprove, hindi lang in writing kundi sa kahit saang field na maari ko (naming) kayong tulungan, tulungan tayowszx ditey. (At sana pati ako may i-i-improve pa! XD)

 3. What is your message to your tribe members? 

Dear HANDS, Good Luck sainyo at sana contest kayong matutunan dito sa contest na ‘to na binuo ng Ursine pinto. Congrats din pala at magkasundo kayo sa top Billare! CLAP YOUR Castaways! Sana bago mag nakapasok ang madami na ‘to ay nabasa nyo na sana ang bubukas, at kung hindi pa ay BASAHIN NYO NA! Etong contest na ito ang mag Mechanics sainyo ng bagong Bloodline patungong banyo, joke lang. Sana umpisa tayong lahat! Mentor 32.
