Chapter 3

Joy

Fridays nights are the best. It's the day before the weekend and Dino parents are usually out of town which leaves us the whole house for ourselves and you know what that means. More time to rehears. No Mrs. Lee coming to the garage to interrupt our rehearsals or cutting the power down. We can use this time to really perfect our playing.

Right we're on a break I was monitoring our rehearsal on my phone and I must say we sound good. Hayoung was outside smoking, Hansol was on the brown couch resting, Dino went to the kitchen preparing us a light snack and Cha Eunwoo was also outside, but I didn't know what he was doing. One thing I know he isn't talking to Hayoung, she doesn't like to talk while taking a smoke. I guess he's on his phone.

Just then Dino came to the garage with a tray full of sandwiches and coca cola cans. He placed it on the counter next to me and sat down and started eating. He looked around and saw how we all spend our break and chuckled.

Poor kiddo, he's the only one who's in junior high school and must sometime feel out of place. Hansol always makes sure to include him in our discussion; most of them include anime which I enjoy the most out of all the things they actually talk about. I'm not afraid to call myself an Otaku the Korean version is a Mania, but Otaku sound baddass.

Curious of what I was writing down in my notebook Dino glances over, but I quickly closed my note book and placed it in my backpack. He handed me a sandwich with a napkin as a plate.

"Why can't I have a normal plate?" I asked not really minding it just to annoy him.

"Because I don't want to do the dishes" he says. Smart kid. We ate in silence for awhile when Dino finally speaks up.

"I think we're ready to send our demo to music agencies."

"I think so too." I said. "We just need record Feel and transfer all of our songs on a USB and be ready to go around applying for a record deal."

He nods in excitement while chewing his sandwich. He looked adorable. Cha Eunwoo finally came back inside and took a seat next to Dino. It's so funny to see Dino's reactions whenever Eunwoo is around. He actually told Hansol that he idolises Eunwoo because he looks so cool and sings so well. Seeing his reaction when Eunwoo sat next to him. His eyes just light up. I mean if I was in his place and age right now and had to choose one of the two boys to go gaga over I'd probably choose Hansol. He's easy going doesn't stress about life while Eunwoo always has perfect hair, wears coordinated clothes and is a horrible boyfriend. I don't get what Dino sees in him. I guess mystery boys are the best.

"Joy are you ok?" asks Eunwoo. I must've been staring for too long.

"Nothing I was just wondering why you aren't wearing your school uniform?" I answered. After class ended Hansol, Hayoung and I all went directly to Dino house. Eunwoo said he was going to join us later and came wearing high class outfit and told us he had to leave early, but didn't tell us why.

"Oh you're going to Sana's birthday." Answered Dino who was still staring at Eunwoo outfit and taking mental pictures so he can also buy those clothes.

"How come you know my girlfriends name?" asked Eunwoo to Dino impressed he got the right answer.

"Oh she doesn't live far from here. Her friends went around the neighborhood to tell everyone that they were having a party this Friday and apologise in advance." He said avoiding Eunwoo stare.

"Yeah but how did you know it was his girl-"

"We should record Feel" he says and jugs his drink down and goes to the keyboard.

Dino wakes Hansol up and went to outside to Hayoung. He looked adorable. I turn my attention back to my sandwich.

"I heard you had an encounter with Sana in the girls' bathroom" said Eunwoo while eating his sandwich.
