Angel's POV

       BEEP.BEEP.BEEP.BEEP

I grabbed an alarm beside my bed and threw it onto the floor with as much as force as I possibly could muster. "WHAT THE FUCK", I yelled. I didn't remember setting an alarm, or getting a new one at all. It must have been one of the maids or my parents. I got up and walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My makeup was intact, I put a silky black robe and made my way downstairs.

I looked around for my parents but couldn't find them anywhere. Damn I'm hungry as shit. I walked over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. I looked inside and pulled out two things. A gluten-free granola bar or a pack of red velvet cupcakes. Healthy or Delicious. Healthy or Delicious.

Fuck it, you deserve it. I threw that piece of gluten-free trash over my shoulder and attacked the cupcakes. My eyes caught a piece of paper near a vase by the kitchen island.

Angel, your mother and I will be gone for a month in Europe. We are doing some major bussiness trade deals that will benefit Kingsley Corp. I hope you understand. We expect you to behave, you start school tomorrow. Your Father.

"FUCKING BULLSHIT", I yelled as I threw the base at the nearest wall. I fell to the floor and held my head in my hands. They always did that shit, leave me alone for months on end and then come back and except everything to be peachy. Yeah, just fucking peachy.  This is one of the reasons I joined a gang. I was alone, innocent, and naive.

°Flashback°

"Hey kid! Are you lost or something", said one of the stoners of my middle school. I started to skip classes in the sixth grade, I would sneak in the back of the school and smoke the cigarettes I stole from my dad.

"N-no.", I whispered as I looked at the ground with my cigarette in hand. "Hey, look up", one of the eighth graders said. I quickly looked up and saw him smirking at me. "You looking for a good time" , he asked as he scanned my face. "Sure why not?" I quickly answered, surprised by my sudden confidence. He took my hand and we started walking away from the school campus, the rest of the boys walking along with us. "My name is Alex", he whispered in my ear as we walked towards an abandoned building.

We walked in and found that the building was not as abandoned on the inside as it looked on the outside. It looked like a gym that doubled as an office building, large tattoed men walked to and fro from the offices and gym. "Welcome to our secret hideout", Alex told me. "Why is it such a secret?"I asked him as I looked around. "Well... because if you know about it I would have to kill you", he said from behind me as he pushed a barrel of a gun against my head. My eyes widened as I realized these may be my very last moments.

"Or..." he trailed off as he cocked the gun ruther into my head. "Or what?" I asked as my voice cracked. "Or you could join us and not have a bullet in between your eyes", he said in a singsong voice but his words were dripped in mockery. "Yes, whatever it is. I'll join!" I yelled as I let a silent sob out. "Good because I wouldn't wanna waste a pretty face like yours", he said as he kissed my cheek and took my hand. My eyes were filling with more tears as he led me to one of the offices.

°End of Flashback°

I got up from the floor and made my way back to my room. As I slammed my door open, a black Louis Vuitton bag with school supplies was in the corner of my room. My parents probably told the maids to get me it.  I walked over to my walk-in closet and looked around for a while. I took off a red dress from one of the hangers and grabbed a pair of red stilettos. I pulled on the dress, struggling to get it past my ass. Then, I slipped into the the heels.
