Hi! Thanks for deciding to read and wait for this 'new' piece of writing I came up with since I was 18 years old xdd. I'm sorry for not updating a lot... Oki, I'll clarify some things before you can start reading this again with the small recent changes I made for your better enjoyment.

Notes: -This is an AU where the Most tragic event in human history never happened. Hope's Peak Academy and the Reserve Course still exist, Komaeda's feelings towards talentless people and hope are still the same xd. The only tragedy here is for (Y/N).

-I claim this book to have adult content to stay on the safe side in case something happens in the story (like swearing or sexual themes and stuff xd)

-I apologize if you are a smexy boi :c this trashy author is not the type of person who writes a gender neutral (Y/N). I'll try to write one in the near future though.

Now, without further adieu, hope you like this chappie! <3

Italics: Flashback/Thoughts

...

What did she do to deserve this hell? Even she couldn't understand. Was the lack of talent a crime? Even though her young brain didn't care about that, her abusive parents pressured her in being at least good for just one thing. Just one! But it looked like, in their eyes, (Y/N) was useless in everything.

Right at that moment, her parents and aunt were arguing, (Y/N) was sitting with her back against the wall as salty tears were hitting the cold wooden floor and she took deep breaths to calm her sobs.

"You see why we can't stand her now?! She's just a piece of garbage!" The voice of her mother yelled.

"She's just a child! She'll find something she's good at when she grows up. Give her time". Her aunt defended the girl.

"The decision is made. We are not wasting time for her anymore".

....

"(Y/N)... (Y/N)!!"

You snapped out of your trance and glared only to see a teenager standing in front of your desk. The girl's face was painfully close to yours, and of course, this made you feel uncomfortable. She was a nuisance to you so everytime you both spoke, your dislike of her comes to light.

"What do you want now, Natsumi?" You asked irritated while you pushed your classmate away. As a result of that, the blonde girl's expression turned into a disgusted one and backed off a few paces, she then leaned against another nearby desk.

"Your face annoys me... please stop. Everyday you just sit there staring blankly in the distance. What's up with you?". You scoffed and grabbed your backpack as you stood up from your seat.

"What do you care? Mind your own business and leave me alone, would you?" After you uttered those words, you walked away a tad too quickly. You wanted to get out there as soon as possible so you won't have to deal with that bitch.

"Are you depressed because that talentless boyfriend of yours moved on? What was his name... Hajime?" Natsumi said with a smirk decorating her face. She knew exactly how to get you irritated much to your dismay, she had to talk garbage about Hajime and that made your blood boil. At that point you were in the hallway a few feet away from your classroom, you turned around quick to grab Natsumi by the collar.

"Listen, you are not in the position to judge him since you are as talentless as we all are in this school. In case you've forgotten, think about the reason Hope's Peak Academy didn't invite you to attend". You released your grip on her roughly, causing her to bump her back into a random classmate, who grabbed a very irritated Natsumi by her shoulders as she saw you going out of the room.
