"A-Are you Apollo?" She didn't respond and walked away but in my mind I knew that it had to be her but I wasn't so sure. Apollo was a little girl I taught piano and music lessons to and she was very talented too but when I left I never said goodbye so maybe that took a toll on her. The first week went by and I still haven't talked to the girl who I thought was Apollo, but today I was going to try again. School ended and I ran out to the courtyard where she was walking and called out her name to get her attention. She turned to see me and started running but I chased her, she ran and ran and kept saying "leave me alone" but I responded by saying "why are you running when you could be the girl I knew all those years ago but I don't know for sure." I caught up with her and grabbed her arm and she stopped running and said "Why, why do you care if I am the little girl you have music lessons to?" That moment I knew it was her and I said "B-Because I left and I want to apologize since I left without saying goodbye and.." she interrupted me and started crying then said "Yeah you left and I am not emotional over that but over the fact that you never told me anything and I didn't think that my last lesson would be My last, you left me all alone with no one to make me feel like I mattered or even existed but you left!" Tears were pouring of her face and I all I could do was stare and listen to her story of the pain I brought to her, "You left and forgot about me like a distant memory and you.." I quickly ran to her then held her in my arms with tears falling of my face, then I whispering in her ear I said "I am so sorry Apollo, I never meant to bring you so much pain please let me back into your life so maybe I can pay back for what I did to you" Apollo's eyes widened and she started to calm down and said "B-But why are you here right now holding me?" I backed away, wiped my tears and said "I guess I wanted to have another lesson with my little sun." Her eyes sparkled when I said "little sun" since it was a nickname I gave her when she was little.

She ran into my arms and she said the words that made me cry tears of joy "So when is our next session Dawn?" I knew I was home. After that day we started walking to school with each other and all the pain went away which opened a part of myself that I never had four years ago. "Sorry about the other day however do you even remember me?" Who said that I wondered?
