I walked in the hallways trying to look for Camila. If I'm gonna make her like me, I need to make my move soon. I spotted Lucy and Vero by their lockers as I walked towards them.
"Have you guys seen Camila?"
Lucy raised her eyebrows. "Eager?"
"No, I just need to get this over with." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Yeah, okay whatever. But no, we haven't seen her yet." Vero said, unconvinced.
"Where's Lexa?"
"She's with Matt. Alexa has him wrapped around tight her finger." Vero explained, making the three of us chuckle.
"Poor guy." Lucy muttered.

"Oh great, Ms. Popular is walking towards us." Ally said, while taking a bite of her sandwhich.
"Hey guys!" Lauren exclaimed, plopping herself beside me. "Hey Camz." she winked.
Camz? Really?
"Hey, Lauren." I said, winking back. She sat up straight, taken a back by my action. Yeah, you do that. I heard her talking to her friends this morning. Ally was right. The girl is a jerk.
"I was wondering if you had plans tonight? I'd love to hang with you."
"Actually, she-
"No. I don't have any plans tonight."
The girls looked at me, their jaws dropping.
"Good. I'll pick you up at the school entrance." she said, standing up. "Bye guys."
"Mila, what the hell?"
"Look guys, I got this. If she wants to play the love game, I'm gonna make sure she loses."

* A month later
"No. No. Fuck. No. This is not happening. Holy shit. No. No. Crap. Crap. Shit. No."
"Lauren, calm do-
"No! I'm not gonna fucking come down! I love her, Vero! I fucking love her! Holy shit!" I said, pacing around my room. "I love someone, holy fuck!"

"Yes! I am fucking sure! I miss her all the fucking time! I wanna be with her all the fucking time! I wanna cuddle with her on the weekends! I want to take her out on dates! I want to take her to the beach and make sand castles with her! I just want her! Hell, I even imagine us on the beach running towards each other in slow motion! I don't know what to fucking do!"
"Oh my god, Lauren." Alexa gasped. "You're fucking whipped."
"It's been a whole month, and the only thing you've managed to do is make yourself fall in love. It should be the other way around." Lucy butted in.
"Who knows, maybe Camila loves her too." Vero said.
I sat on the edge of my bed, massaging my temple. I looked over to my friends, who were smiling goofily.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Lauren, you're in love. What kind of best friends would we be if weren't happy for you?"
"I'm not good enough for her." I said, sobbing a little.
"Holy shit, Lauren. Why the hell are you crying?" Alexa asked, chuckling. I laughed before shrugging.
Lucy came over to where I was and looked at me seriously. "If you feel like she's to good for you, My god, don't let her go. Try your hardest to be good enough for her, you idiot!"
We all looked at Lucy with shocked faces.
"Wow, Lucy." Vero mumbled.
