Lauren did not understand how someone who looked like an angel could be so fucking rude. She rolled her eyes at the sight of Camila Cabello and her posse bullying some freshman who ACCIDENTALLY bumped into her. Like who the hell does she think she is? Does she think she's some kind of goddess? Lauren found it ridiculous how Camila thought so highly of herself. She wasn't better than anyone in this hellhole.
"Careful, Jauregui. Don't want Cabello to catch you giving her the stink eye." Normani remarked.
Lauren huffed. "I don't care. She can go fuck herself."
"Girl, don't be acting like you don't have a crush on her."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"Y'all have this weird sexual ten-"
"Shut the hell up, Mani!" Lauren hushed.
The duo entered their drama class and saw almost everybody there. Camila Cabello included. And she was sitting on Lauren's goddamn chair.
"That's my chair, Cabello." Lauren said matter-of-factly.
Camila looked up and looked at Lauren in the eye, a smirk playing on her lips. "Not anymore, Jauregui."
Lauren's eye twitched in anger. "Listen here you little bi-"
"Oookay, that's enough. Camila, you can have the seat. Come on, let's go sit in the front." Normani said, grabbing Lauren's arm and leading her to the front of the room.
Lauren groaned. She could hear the devil (Camila) giggling.
Normani and Lauren sat at the very front making Lauren pucker her lips into a pout.
"Mani, I hate the front." Lauren complained. "I hate her so much."
Normani giggled. "Y'all would actually look cute together."
The class fell silent when Mr. O' Neil entered the room. "Alright, class. Let's go right down to business. Each class will be assigned a book. Once you are assigned a book, it is your task, as a class, to create a play."
The class groaned.
"But with a little twist," That caught the class' attention.
"It has to be an LGBT production." LGBT?
"Your book is Romeo and Juliet. There's an emergency faculty meeting so I'll best be off now. I trust you guys to be responsible. Pick a class director and figure out who plays who." Mr. O' Neil walked out of the room.
"I nominate Gaby to be the director!" The guy behind Lauren exclaimed.
Sounds of approval were made and Gaby was now being forced to the front.
"Okay, okay! I can walk on my own." Gaby rolled her eyes. "Alright, um, it has to be an LGBT production right? So will the main characters be both boys or both girls?"
That, ladies and gents, is how Roma and Juliet came to be. What even is Roma? Isn't that Rome?
"Okay so we will set aside the two main characters for now and focus on the other characters." Gaby clasped her hands together.
After a whole lot of arguing, each character had already been assigned to someone. Except for Roma and Juliet.
"Okay, so William and Kate will play Lord and Lady Montague?" Gaby looked up from the paper she was writing on.
