Chapter 4

Luke's POV
I wake up on a Friday with Ashley in my arms sound asleep and it just makes me smile.
I've known her for 5 months but she's already my best friend and it feels like 5 years.
"Wake up beautiful" I say waking her up
She groans and I laugh
"I wanna sleep it's too early for school" she says
"I don't control that" I say laughing
"Let me sleep" she says sitting up on my lap
She's got messy hair and sleepy eyes and looks like she was crying all night but she still looks beautiful
"I'll make a deal with you" I say
"Okay " she says
"If you get up and eat breakfast we can leave early and take the long way you can sleep the whole way to school" I say
"Okay deal" she says smiling
We go downstairs and eat breakfast and I wait downstairs for her to get ready
She walks downstairs in leggings and a tank top
"Let's goooooo" she says
" nah I don't feel like it" I say
She tries pushing me from behind and struggles and we both laugh and we leave
" now go to sleep Mrs sassy" I say
She falls asleep and I turn the radio down
We get to school and I tickle her awake
"Don't do that" she squeals
"Well I had to wake you up" I say
~~After School~~
"Ashley do you wanna go to dinner with me" I ask
"Sure where at" she asks
"Do you like bbq" I ask
Her face lights up and she screams "I love bbq"
"Bbq it is I say laughing
"You're amazing " she says sitting in the truck
"How" I ask
" you're my best friend and you let me vent and you treat me amazing" "why are you so sweet to me " she asks
" cuz I like you " I say smiling
She smiles
"Do you wanna be my girl" I ask
"Yes" she says smiling
I smile and she smiles
We get home and change and go to dinner
We walk in holding hands and she says "it smells amazing in here"
We sit and eat and I laugh when she gets bbq sauce on her chin
"What is so funny" she asks laughing
I point to my chin and "say you have sauce"
She wipes it and says "that was really good"
"Yes it was" I say
" thank you for dinner" she says
"You're welcome sweetheart " I say kissing her cheek
