Luke's POV
It's time to hit the road to music city so I put everything in my truck while Ashley sleeps.
"Wake up princess" I say playing with her hair
"Good morning handsome" she says smiling when she opens her eyes
"I got the truck packed and ready to go, get ready and we can head out" I say
"What if I wanna wear my pjs" she says
"I picked you out leggings and a shirt" I say laughing
"Oh okay thank you" she says getting out of bed
"I'll be downstairs " I say
She comes downstairs with leggings and my old sweatshirt instead and her last box
"That's mine " I say
"It's comfy and smells good" she says
I smile
We get in the truck and she starts to speak
"Are you nervous" she asks
"A little" I say
"Are you" I ask
"As long as I don't have to go to a school" she says
"I'm worried about you" I say
"Why" she asks
"Because when you moved here you were nervous even for school" I say laying my hand in her lap
"I'm a little nervous just cuz it's a new area and my home state" she says
"I'll protect you" I say
She smiles, gosh that girl makes my heart melt
I smile back and kiss her
"Let's get going" I say
